This song is so wonderfully mastered and done. Love it massively in its original way from The Open Door (2006), but when she remade it for Synthesis (2017), I think she particularly made it shine in another light. You said you are told multiple times to react to Synthesis Live DVD. From that performance, I would suggest “The end of the Dream”. It’s a freaking underrated and mostly unknown song from their third album from 2011, that when she remade it for Synthesis, I think she just went nuts for it. It’s the song for me that really stuns you the most.

Fun fact Amy loves Mozart, Lacramosa is actually a Mozart composition she wrote a song over it. Genius. I had the chance to see this live and I didn’t realize how unique and amazing it was so I didn’t get the tickets. Will forever kick myself

The entire Synthesis album is all Evanescence music reimagined and what Amy saw initially for the band. To have a large orchestral element. So epic

She is a mezzo soprano. In the past it was called soprano 2. That means half soprano. Mezzo soprano have the ability to hit high notes as sopranos mostly to c6 d6 and they can hit notes in the contralto range aswell like to a c3. Some mezzos can go deeper and have less high notes or they can go higher and have less low notes. Amy lee tends more to go higher.because her low notes are very limited for a mezzo. But she has the dark timbre for the low notes. The technique is in the lows sometimes not supported well.

She did a synthesis tour all over the world and played with a different orchestra for every single show. When she was here in Australia she did played with Queensland Sydney and Melbourne orchestra. I saw her for that tour in February 2018 inn Melbourne The first song she played I had tears cause I was so happy and overwhelmed

For me Fallen ist the best album, but here voice getting better and better when she gets older and many people just haven't noticed that, now she is on a top level. For example kzbin.info/www/bejne/a3rHfZ9-epyrm6M

Synthethis , the open door and evanecence were more vertisail than fallen. Fallen has too many very similar Songs.
