It’s a really cool song and it usually is well liked among EV fans but I particularly was in awe of other tunes from that album, except ironically the two songs that were chosen as singles. I’d recommend “lost in paradise”, “the change” or “end of the dream” from that album. May I add that after you praised their drums I wanted to point out that although Will Hunt is Evanescence’s drummer since 2007, it wasn’t until they released this album, their self titled album in 2011 that you can hear Will s contribution to their sound. Personally I think he’s a beast of a drummer but he shines specifically in their latest one, The Bitter Truth.

Also, this song “my heart is broken” was written as an inspiration for women victim of sex trafficking in New York. Amy volunteered with an non profit organisation to help those women and got inspired to write this one.
