Floor Jansen is a vocal athlete with incredible range, versatility, vocal stamina, and stage presence. She is a soprano with a range of more than three octaves (D3 to F6). It is apparent when listening to her sing that she has spent the better part of her life fine-tuning her instrument with help from several vocal coaches. Floor was in her studio in Sweden, while the band was in the Netherlands in their studio when this was recorded, due to the fact that Floor was not allowed to travel because she had her gall bladder removed a fortnight prior to this show; and her name is Floor Jansen, is Dutch and she is the singer of the band Nightwish from Finland which is a symphonic metal band! She can do any genre from classical to metal and everything in between, many people see her as the best female singer at this moment in time, you should listen to their concerts where she performes at this level for one and a half or two hours at her top level, so you aint seen nothing yet!

Well guys, this is just the beginning ! Floor did that from home with a link to the studio she just had her gall bladder removed a cpl of weeks before so couldn't travel to the show. You should do Beste Zangers 2019 to hear her sing more and in different languages. The first episode is really good the other singers don't really know her and get a bit of a shock when she sings.

Sorry for Celine Dion, but is is true, as you also will conclude when you dive deeper in her career. As I am a Flooraholic from Utrecht, The Netherlands here is some background information on our Dutch Valkyrie Queen. She joined the band 'After Forever' in 1997 at the age of 16. My favourite song is 'Energize Me'. They made a very beautiful music video out of this. 'After Forever' disbanded in 2009 and Floor started her own band 'Revamp' from scratch. Here she experimented with different vocal styles within one song, such as from full operatic to serious growls in seconds. The songs 'Disdain' and 'Wild Card' are good examples. September 2012 came the call from Nightwish to fill in for the remainder of the American Tour as their second singer Annette got ill. Floor had just 48 hours to learn the whole setlist. There is a documentary made of this world tour ('Please learn the setlist in 48 hours'). The lyrics of the songs of Nightwish are very poetic and the music as a whole is challenging, but Floor pulled it off and she stayed for the whole world tour, culminating in the iconic Wacken 2013 Open Air festival. It was obvious that the match Nightwish and Floor Jansen was made in Walhalla, so she became a permanent member of the band in 2013 as the relationship with Annette and the band was strained even before she became ill. Floor continued to perform with 'Revamp' for a couple of years, but it became clear that she could not combine the two for much longer, so Revamp disbanded in 2016. Floor did a side project called 'Northward' where she dived into the Hard Rock scene. The song 'While Love Died' is a must see. Her stunning performances on the Dutch TV show 'Beste Zangers 2019' gave her at last some more recognition in her home country where she was relatively unknown until then. Please do more reactions of Floor. Either her solo performances or Floor singing lead vocal with her band Nightwish.. She is a Valkyrie Goddess in every way. Once you listen to her, and actually hear all the different vocal components to her voice, she will swoon you over because of the amazing abilities she has with her voice.. I have to say she is the best singer on earth., she can sing anything and never sings off pitch, not ever...

People have called her the SwissArmyKnife of singers. She is the most versatile female singer alive today, Dimash is the only more versatile singer due to his 6 octave range.
