Sax player here. The tenor solo played by Jr Walker famously makes use of the altissimo register, which is a method often used by rock/pop cats to mark the solo's crescendo. Cheers!

It's my understanding the Sax solo was a bit of a stroke of luck as during the recording session they learned Jr. Walker was in town doing a gig so they asked if he maybe wanted to stop by after his concert and here we are.... Lots of great suggestions and they are all great tunes. How about one from 1977, Check out 'Long, Long Way From Home'. Cheers.

I went to a Foreigner concert in Indianapolis in 1993 and it was one of the best concerts I have been to, and I've been to many. A bunch of us girls got into the 2nd row and the lead singer threw a bunch of guitar pics at me after we rushed to the stage on this song. I didn't get a one, it was a frenzy. Damn!
