This is another group I grew up with in the 60's. They had so many great hits together such as "Sherry", "Walk Like a Man" & "Candy Girl", "Let's Hang On!", "Working My Way Back to You", "I've Got You Under My Skin" etc. When Frankie went out on his own in the 70's, the songs "My Eyes Adored You" & "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" were big hits for him. He also had a hit with the song "Grease" from the movie. Always loved that he was able to sing in a falsetto voice.

My father drove me to prep school sophomore year. The AM radio in the car followed the same playlist each day. So every morning at 7:20 I heard this song. Then dad would pull over by the school and mumble "We'll see you later." Cannot ever hear this without remembering that. And.... it's a great song!

As a child of the late 70's early 80's, I thought "Frankie Valli" was so old.... omg...forgive me lord...he and his band are so cutting edge. And damn, the MAN still tourz. FV and the 4S are timeless. Like "Beggin"...for a start! TIMELESS MUSIC

I think Frankie originated the "white man overbite", lol. This is absolutely one of my favorites! The other features Gerry Polci (drummer) on lead vocals, and that's December 1963. He didn't think that he had a good singing voice, when in fact, he was outstanding no one can sing that song like him...AND play the drums. *He was also Frankie's son-in-law.

Shon, you hit the nail on the head with what an musical artist is, when the vocalist voice becomes an instrument, something that I really miss, it's still around here and there but it's becoming really hard to find. Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons are fantastic! Yeah, you liked that break didn't you?! Throwing in a little groove never hurts!

Frankie is known for his pure high falsetto when he was younger. “ Sherry” “ Walk Like A Man”. An entire musical was created about them and I’ve seen it three times- “ Jersey Boys”.

Don Ciccone, the bass player, originally sang lead on this song, but Frankie knew it was going to be a hit and recorded over the lead vocals with his own.

You'd have to look far and wide to find a bad song from Frankie or The Four Seasons. One of my colleagues used to play this in the '90s when we were on the close in McDonald's and then I saw Jersey Boys several times. I didn't like the film so much but the stage show is amazing.
