Gunship's official video for When You Grow Up, Your Heart Dies is a must-watch. They had fans send in re-enactments of 80s movies.

The sax player is Tim Cappello, he's featured but not a member of the band (along with the female vocalist, Milkie Way from Wargasm). Tim had a prominent spot in the movie The Lost Boys playing sax and singing, but he also played for and was in several Tina Turner videos back in the day (he's got a pretty badass solo in the video for One of the Living, from the Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome soundtrack)

The drummer for this song was also Dave Lombardo, drummer for Slayer

Milkie Way is the female guitarist/backing vox and is also the front for a band called Wargasm. Dave Lombardo plays the drums in this video, and the imfamous Tim Capello (ex Tina Turner saxophonist & cameo lord in The Lost Boys) is on sax. It's the debut track from their latest ablum 'Unicorn' and this is simply sublime in every conceivable way. The band have a few albums to date and their back catalogue is immense, so please do more reactions to their music as I love 'em like many of your followers do.

Discovered Gunship several months ago and really haven't been able to stop listening to them. I am a huge fan of metal, but I wouldn't be surprised if I go around telling people my favorite band is Gunship at some point soon. Have also recruited one of my best friends who listens to heavier metal than me to listen to Gunship. Two of the three organic members are also in British rock band, Fightstar. If they ever tour, would love to see them bring Milkie Way or Indiana to provide the lead vocals. Indiana is the singer on Dark All Day - trust me, you want to watch that video. Another standout synthwave group I listen to a bunch is All the Damn Vampires, especially their newest album...and especially the tracks where Mint Simon provides the vocals - her voice is pristine.

Hell yeah Gunship! I just bought their latest music video for the song Doom Dance... on VHS! It's a collaboration with another of my favorite Synthwave/Darksynth/Horrorsynth artists Carpenter Brut. You should absolutely check out Carpenter Brut as well!

This song is based on the epic poem by John Milton Paradise Lost.

Others have mentioned "When You Grow Up, Your Heart Dies" and "Dark All Day". I'll add in "Ghost", "Fly For Your Life", "Tech Noir" (Both 1 and 2), and "The Gates of Disorder".

The just dropped a kick ass new music video called Doom Dance. It has the lead singer from Bush of Glycerine fame.

Gunship is such a V I B E I'd recommend Doom Dance (featuring carpenter brut, another darker somewhat more heavy synthwave artist and Gavin Rossdale providing additional Vocals), or Empress Of The Damned (feat. Lights) for a Head-dislocating bassline and catchy vocals, or Dark all Day for the general ear-worm factor and more of that ripping saxophone! I found Synthwave from a metal-head perspective, so artists like Carpenter Brut and Pertubator were my way in. Those are also highly recommended
