Ann followed her then boyfriend to Canada during the Vietnam War because he was dodging the draft. During which Heart recorded their first studio album in a recording studio in Canada. In Vancouver... I believe. Once the War was over they moved back to the States. Sorry! Heart is 100% USA.

❤ one of my favorite bands. My son took me to see them in 2019 at the Hollywood Bowl in LA. They still jam and sound just the same as they did in the 70's with I saw them then. All of their music is great. Ann & Nancy Wilson are awesome. A MUST watch is the Led Zeppelin Kennedy Center Honors when they sang Stairway to Heaven for the surviving band members. Best thing about Heart is that her voice isn't created in a studio. It really is that powerful and her pitch that perfect. Every1 here made good suggestions, but I'm also partial to "These Dreams," which Nancy happened to sing. Also, guys, Ann & Nancy are sisters, which led to the song Barracuda. They probably don't remember it was heart. This is their normal genre...I'm like that with genres I'm not familiar with, mainly rap..I can't tell one rapper from the other but my husband can just from the way they rap. I like certain rappers like eminem and tupac and I can tell eminem apart from other rappers but that's it. I like that song hail mary I think it's called by tupac and my husband had it playing in his shop and I said I like this song and my husband said you listen to tupac all the time out here and I didn't know that but I guess I do..lol But when it come to classic rock and alternative rock I can tell you anything about the songs the artists and I can tell each and everyone apart.

I'm so glad you guys finally found them Annie Wilson is hands down the greatest female singer in RR history and Nancy is a wizard with that guitar. You must watch them play tribute to Led Zeppelin at the Kennedy Center honors as Robert Plant and the boys are brought to tears by Ann's rendition of Stairway to Heaven. Also, John Bonhams son is playing the drums during this performance. Also Magic Man is a classic

I won this album when it was brand new. The first time I heard this song was on a turntable with four LOUD speakers. I think I wore out that track the first day, and the windows were vibrating. Ann Wilson's voice along with Nancy's masterful guitar just kicks ass!

I'm so glad you listen to the girls. They are amazing. They were on stage Rockin when most of us were still trying to figure out what we were going to do when we grew up. At that time most girls thought our options were limited to nurse, teacher, or housewife. Now of course we know we can do anything we want. Even vice president.😊 Nancy is the one on the guitar and is now married to Cameron Crowe the director. She's been writing movie music scores. Ann is one of the few singers who can scream in a song and still sound good. ❤

Ann (the brunette) and Nancy (blonde) are sisters. Nancy plays the guitar and sings too but Ann sang lead. You gotta understand how unusual it was in the 70s to have 2 women writing and fronting a band. Especially playing lead guitar. It was almost unheard of. They opened many doors for women to come after them and set the bar super high for ALL musicians. And why am I yelling at my phone “you guys are gonna go nuts when she hits the chorus!!” 😂😂😂

Ann and Nancy Wilson are the greatest sister duo in the band. Nancy sings some, but her guitar playing is awesome! Ann has an awesome voice! "Stranded", "All I Want To Do Is Make Love To You", And "These Dreams" are great songs! Their Kennedy Center performance of Led Zeppelin's "Stairway To Heaven" is so awesome too even moved the guys of Led Zeppelin!

I would love to see you guys share some songs you loved growing up. You said you grew up with gospel in the house.... I didn’t, and I’d love to get some insight on what to start with if I wanted to take a listen. You guys have made 2020 and 2021 better. Thanks for the huge smiles and trips down memory lane for those of us who grew up on these songs. You should listen to in your eyes by Peter Gabriel. I know you guys love Phil Collins (of course) and Peter Gabriel was the lead singer of Genesis before Phil took over. I loved how you said all that talent just sitting there behind the drum kit waiting for a shot! Too true!! But, Peter Gabriel is pretty brilliant too, and In Your Eyes is probably one of the best love songs ever written. You two listening to Jolene for the first time was pretty much the best thing ever.
