Thanks for this reaction, Anton! This is the title track from the soundtrack to the movie "Think Like a Man" (2012), based on Steve Harvey's best-selling book. The movie stars Kevin Hart, Cris Brown, Gabrielle Union, Michael Ealy, Regina Hall, Taraji P. Henson, and Jenifer Lewis. Hudson did not act in the film. The song is about love and relationships, but I'm sure it could apply to business and beyond as well.

60s, 70s and 80s R&B was the best, downhill in 90s onward…now doesn’t really exist like yesteryear. Used to be so many great R&B vocalists, bands and groups. JHud has incredible voice

Oh my. No, if you're truly listening to Toni Braxton, for example, it wasn't "hood" and there was refinement to it throughout all of its evolution to the present day. Seven Whole Days, Unbreak My Heart, and so on. Toni Braxton was handled and produced by Babyface 2 is as talented and skilled as they come. I don't like the sound of the point that you're making. Raw is one thing but labeling a whole genre as "hood" in the pejorative is not a good look.
