It's a betrayal song!!! Steve Perry has said, that it actually happened to him. He said that he was at a gig one night and that when he came home late that night. His girlfriend wasn't home and so he thought she was with her girl friends! Until he heard '2 car doors slam!!!' He said that he looked through the window and saw his girlfriend and another guy all over each other!!! Thus, you got .....'Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'!!!' Other great Classic Journey song you guys should react to are ........ 'Girl Can't Help It, Chain Reaction, After The Fall, The Party's Over (studio version), Edge Of The Blade, Ask The Lonely, I'll Be Alright Without You, Why Can't This Night Go On Forever, When You Love A Woman, Message Of Love, Escape, Still They Ride (studio version)'

Hey Phil & Sam so I won't give you a hundred details you'll hear from others but here's a few other facts. Steve's voice is so super special because it's a contralto. It's the lowest of a female voice - yet very, very high for a male voice, which for a male is known as a countertenor. He can hit 4 octaves with little effort. That range is reserved for the best of the best Freddie Mercury, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, etc... The list of 5 octave singers is impressive, but so are the 4's. Another fun fact, notice in the live videos the saxophone player. That's Randy Jackson, who was a judge on American Idol. He toured with them for 2 years. Steve never married. He didn't want to make the same mistakes as his parents. He had many girlfriends & one daughter. In 2011 after seeing a film about cancer he wrote to Kellie Nash who was in the film & was terminal. He got into a relationship with her knowing this. Before she passed she made him promise to come out of seclusion which he had been in since 1996. Thank you Kellie because he returned to the stage a year and a half after her passing. Then in 2018 he released his first album in 24 years. She was a gift to Steve and all of us.
