I was lucky enough to get to meet Kevin one year at what was then known as Fan Fair In Nashville. He was so sweet. It’s a shame his cancer came back and he didn’t make it. I loved his music so much. I have Nobody Knows on my iPad and find myself playing it a lot lately

when you said everybody knows they birthdate but not their death date it reminded me of a song by Eric Dodge Called The Dash (kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWPJlpSjhs2msLc) The Dash between the dates the gift we've all been given that little line that takes us from the cradleup to heaven your born and then you die life goes by so fast but it is all writing on the dash!

Kathy Im sorry for your lost, funny story when Kevin Sharp release this song , my dad who has the same name would go around telling people the country singer ( either my dad or I are related to the singer , we just happened to share the same name, ) unfortunately my dad died on October 24th ,2004 at the age of 45 .

Thanks when my mom passes away at the hospice hospital me and my step-dad left the hospital and we turned the radio on in the car and thus song came on and s Right after it ended the song one more day came on ..and it just was strange why these two sings would be playing back to Back...

Yeah he had cancer when he made the song and unfortunately he passed in 2014.

Thanks for doing this reaction for me, i really do appreciate it...kevin sharp was diagnosed with cancer and died at an early age from cancer sad his career was very short... But this song really makes me think of my mom... Rip to your dad rickki , love the both of you

That like my mom we found out in Aug that she had brain cancer well when we found out she was already in stage 4 cancer but we didn't know this it started in her lungs and spread to her brain and I lost her 3 months later...so yeah its not easy losing a parent especially when it's your mom..my mom died on Thanksgiving day and then her bday is a week later.shd was 49 yrs old when she died ...so Thanksgiving is never a good day for me ..
