That's impressive! I barely have any LPs left in my limited collection. No cassettes either. Which is crazy bc I prob got 80 of them from that "penny for a cassette" thing in the mail. I can't remember the name. Was it Columbia? Doesn't matter. Somehow, none survived. 😢😢

@@snakeinthegrass7443, yes, I seem to recall that Columbia House had the penny deal. Sorry to hear that... like myself... you don't have those anymore. I wasn't allowed to buy LPs or cassettes until I was well into my teenage years (strict parents). Bought my first three LPs in January 1978: KISS Alive ll, Boston's self-titled debut, and Meat Loaf's Bat Out Of Hell. When I finally stopped buying LPs and cassettes in the late '80s, I recall that I had 150 LPs and 300+ cassettes (none of which were duplicates). Went through a divorce in the early '90s, and sold a lot of things... including every LP and cassette.

Back in 1976 the radio audience was fooled by Kiss, thinking that this was a new Rod Stewart song. They should've known better because that same year, Kiss had released 'Beth' as a 'throw away' on the B-side of their 'Detroit Rock City' single. Instead of playing 'Detroit Rock City, DJ's started to flip the single, playing Beth. Thus Kiss ended up with a MASSIVE hit. Maybe you should check Beth out. You'll be in for a surprise.
