Another great "deep" track that many don't even react to. Good job Ace!

Man, I love this whole In Through the Out Door album. It's their last album before the drummer John Bonham died unexpectedly. And it's such a creative album. This is the first song on the album if I recall correctly, so you could literally just go in sequence through the album because everything on it is fantastic but also each one has its own personality. I think Southbound Suarez is the next cut and boy do I love that song. It always makes me want to dance. And it's so piano-driven it's just so incredibly fun. Robert Plant's voice is great too; at the end he's almost channelling early Elvis Presley, lol.

You can by recommending crappy live performances for these reactions This was a great reaction btw. Immediately grasped the force of Page's music

“In Through The Outdoor” the last Zeppelin album is incredible! I live the diversity of the album. Hot Dog is a fun song that only Zeppelin could pull off. Cheers ✌️

"The strings" = the very cool Gizmotron, that you hear at the beginning of the song.

Not the most popular Album by the 'music critics' who didn't get the Zeppelin thing...but Zep fans don't care! When this came out in 1979 I was in HS and I thought this had all of the earmarks of LZ and I accepted it readily. These ITTOD songs were mostly written by Plant/Jones who turned up at Polar Studios in Sweden way before Page and Bonham, who were 'indisposed'. Great vibe! Thanks Acetheheart.

Hi Ace! Love your reactions! I’m suggesting that your next reaction should be a high energy song from a band called Molly Hatchet and their song Flirtin with Disaster. Keep up the good work Ace!

This album was more Plant & JPJ written produced etc. Plant & JPJ would record in the morning, & Page & Bonham in the afternoon. Sadly Bonham’s drinking was worse, & so was Page’s heroine addiction.

I remember when this song/record came out. I was so very disappointed and awful. I knew this would be the end of Zeppelin.

So weird!! If I could listen to only one song for the rest of my life it would be In The Evening. Granted I'm already 77 but I wouldn't be bored!!!
