Congratulations, you have just discovered one of the greatest voices of all time. I know that gets said a lot about many artists but she truly is in a class of her own. She was the first female artist to sell out stadiums, that is how good she is and how many hits she had! She dominated the 70s and it confounds me how she escaped the newer generations. She had 38 top 100 singles, that is EPIC! Listen to 'Long, Long TIme' and 'Desperado' for starters.

"Blue Bayou" is a song written by Roy Orbison and Joe Melson. It was originally sung and recorded by Orbison, who had an international hit with his version in 1963. It later became Linda Ronstadt's signature song, with which she scored a Top 5 hit with her cover in 1977. The song has since been recorded by many others

Great reaction. Love seeing a new fan fall in love with Linda's voice! I was fortunate enough to grow up listening to her. I suggest listening to Long, Long, Time.

The studio version is very similar but I prefer this live version. Her biggest hit is You’re No Good, I recommend the studio version for this one.

Love this!!!!! You're No Good is such a classic I love the album version but the Midnight Special is really cool!!!!! Tracks of My Tears, Just One Look, Someone To Lay Down Beside Me, Alison all great too!!! Many more!!!

Linda had the most beautiful voice on the planet until it was stolen by a neurological disorder 😢. She is stunningly talented. Speaking of Whitney, Linda actually covered Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” many years before WH did it. I prefer Linda’s version but that may just be because I heard it first. 🌺✌️
