Marcelito's father was incarcerated and his mother abandoned him on the poverty stricken city in the Pilipines. He cleanrd chicken coops for coins to survive and he sang to the chickens. He can sing all genres of music in 6 languages. He is completely self taught and has had no musical training of any kind. He has used his fame and income from singing for his charity in The Phillipines. I saw him building a house for an old man who lived in a shack made of a few pieces of wood, a tarp and dirt. There is much more to tell about Marcelito but, to me, he is so special to dispite all he lived through he remained kind, humble, caring and generous. He is married and has 2 beautiful daughters.
