The guitar in this is sublime. I love the theme of hope triumphing over nihilism. Even if he doesn’t escape the gutter, his heart does. I find this song to be incredibly emotional.

This diamond should be in your collection. I recommend making a reaction to one of the best vocalists in the world 1) super unique voice (dramatic contralto with polyphonic overtones); 2) the most complex vocal techniques, a bewitching voice; 3) the incredible fate of a girl found with a broken collarbone at a bus stop and ended up in an orphanage; 4) 70 victories in vocal competitions - a child prodigy, can sing in any musical genre, Diana sings in 6 languages: English, French, Russian, German, Spanish, Arabic; 5) incredible charisma, artistry and living of any song; 6) a range of 4 octaves, which at the age of 19 is far from the limit and will continue to grow; 7) a large army of fans around the world; 8) an independent artist, without producers and labels, only with the support of fans and reactors like you; 9) and now she is also a talented lyricist and composer of her music; 10) more than 13 thousand reactions. some reactions have 3.5 million views. Meet Diana Ankudinova!

Meatloaf, born Marvin Lee Aday got the name Meat because when he was born he stayed red unusually long so his dad called him meat because he looked like ground beef!!! The loaf part came from friends in Jr High🙂🙂🙂

This is epic, like you’re watching a movie. That being said, as far as epic is concerned, “For Cryin’ Out Loud” is tight up there with it if you haven’t heard it yet.

You’re right, the videoclip was like watching part of a movie. Is that one also a Meatloaf song?

Oh my, this is your first time hearing this song. This song is quite old now but it's still fantastic nonetheless. It's timeless and it's a musical journey. Btw what a cute doggy with a fancy jumper!

I think the motorbike scene is taken from the Rocky Horror Show movie, in which Meatloaf plays a part.

If you haven't heard Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad, I'd love to see your reaction to the emotions that it invokes. Also, I could listen to your voice and your accent 24/7. :)

Thank you. I actually heard that song as a child but I’m planning a video where I give my thoughts on song lyrics that I didn’t get as a child and will be listening to them again now that I have some life experience behind me 😆 so I’ve added this song to that list. Haha thank you. I feel like I have quite a husky voice but the accent helps ☀️

Hmm I do know that rule… if I can’t talk about Fight Club, does that mean that I can’t react to it? 🤨

@@inbedwithmusic2130 others have managed to do it..... Meatloaf is great in it..... I suggest you make a point to watch it..... two points even..... before I ruin it with these dumb spoiler jokes? (ask me about my lame claim to fame with Meatloaf someday too maybe?)

To be fair, you do need to lie down in a darkened room for a while after hearing "Bat Out of Hell" for the first time, instead of diving straight back in. Sadly the video cuts off the intro, which is 1min 50secs long and is as iconic as the song in its own right. Both Meat Loaf and the composer Jim Steinman (seen playing the piano in this video) had to fight for years to get their debut album off the ground. No record label would touch it, they thought it was a joke and would never sell. Luckily they found a handful of people who did believe in what they were doing together, and the rest is music history. What a pair they made: a reclusive, mad-genius composer and a shy, overweight kid from Texas who happened to have a unique voice with insane range, dynamism, power and yet also warmth and sweetness. And you're right: despite his size, with that voice, that smile, that charisma and that accent, he had no trouble attracting the ladies! If you're looking for a serenade from him, try "Heaven Can Wait", "For Crying Out Loud", and "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad" - even though the last one is a breakup song.
