Mike Rutherford - the guutarist - co-wrote this with BA Robertson after they'd realised their fathers had died at a similar time and then Paul Carrack, the singer (from my home city of Sheffield 😁) told them his own father had died when he was only 11. Mike Rutherford is also the bloke in the vid with the lad - that's his then 8yr old son.
