Like you I rate Morissette as one of the best vocalists out there. You don't appear to have analysed one of her best performances yet. “Could You Be Messiah”. It is sung with so much passion, stripped back to piano and voice and done in one take. Get the tissues out and watch “Could You Be Messiah”.
