The guitarist doing the crazy good solo is her husband - Neil "Spyder" Geraldo. They're still touring, they're still married and they're still rocking it like it's the 80s all over again.

She didn't even get half the single releases in the UK that she did in America. I looked up wikipedia and discogs and I was shocked to see how few releases we actually got this side of the pond; I took for granted all the ones on her compilations which are so iconic we also got here, but nope. Don't know what kind of representation she had in the UK with her label, but they seriously messed up. I still think she's incredibly underrated, especially over here.

I'm not sure what you are talking about. I graduated high school in 1983 and I can tell you she got tons of airplay. Not only that but loads of people wearing her concert t-shirts and girls rocking Pat Benatar short haircuts. She got plenty of her well deserved roses. I daresay we called her the queen of rock and roll back then. In the early 80s there was no other woman doing rock getting more attention on MTV or on the radio.
