If you like to know more about the universe I recommend watching the cinematic of Runeterra or champion trailers. Watch "Annie: Origins". If you like it then I definetly recommend checking out more. There are amazing stories revolving around the champions and regions and Arcane has shown only a tiny slice of the whole delicious cake.

Check out the Mediocre Rap Battles of the LEC, (the European pro scene for League of Legends). These are rap battles sang by the LEC commentators and analysts... AND they are NOT bad. They are GOOD even! They reference teams (represented by a different rapper), their history and rivalries. You don't even have to watch LEC match games or know the history to even get most of the stuff they reference. There are a number of rap battles you could choose form as well.

The MV was about the pro players (and their signature characters) who were once great but then made bad plays that result into their team defeat, but now they overcome themselves to now fight again in Worlds championship (the song is about phoenix and reborn and overcome your demons that combines with the MV story)

i would not say they are really signature characters because i am not sure Karma is Faker Signature Character... its more like the characters shown in the video were popular and strong picks ( Irelia, Karma and Lissandra) at the time but historically Faker, Caps and Rookie (the players nicknames) struggled with the picks, whether they had no impact whatsoever in the game or straight up fed the other team leading their team to defeat... and for that they received not so kind backlash from the fans... in the beginning in the train where Rookie is scrolling on the phone... they are tons of people trashtalking him because of his poor performance with Lissandra... also similar stories with Faker and Caps...

Something important to note about this video is that each of these world class players had a moment in their career where they really messed up in-game. All three of them are considered legends of the game, and so this video displays those moments, the moves & characters used, where they messed up. However, they rose back up through perseverance to remain the best of the best. The lyrics and visuals are even more inspiring the deeper you understand the e-sports lore. The name of these players are Faker (widely considered the GOAT of LoL), Rookie (considered by many to be the closest to GOAT status after Faker from the Mid-lane role), and Caps (Widely considered the greatest western player of all time, and one of the few western players who could be in a top 10 players of all time conversation). Faker on Karma, Rookie on Lissandra, and Caps on Irelia; all three players known for their unbelievable performances on these champions have had an international game-losing moment playing them. However, they've overcome these moments and become stronger players in the process, choosing not to die but to rise - like a phoenix. Pretty inspiring stuff! Bonus fact, this song was played during the 2019 opening ceremony to the grand-finals where the team 'Fun-Plus Phoenix' went on to win the championship. Edit: 'Take Over' or 'Burn It All Down' get my vote. Both are amazing. 'Take Over' maybe makes more sense since it is the 2020 song, where as 'Burn it all down' is the 2021 song :).

@@HerpyOwO Well, they might have changed the lore since I was gone but: -she was the one of the original three sisters that vrought the other to ally with the Watchers (creatures like Vel'Koz) for power -she killed her sisters when they decided to not follow the Watchers to protect Freljord -she wormed her way in the most secluded tribe of the Freljord, taking control over it and slowly changing it as a more and more secluded tribe -with each generation, she picks as the next leader thegirl who most closely resembles her only to kill her and take her place, so that others do not suspect that she is secretly the immortal Ice Witch -she uses her position as leader of hte third tribe to be a counselor of Sejuani and Ashe, fomenting the war between the two so that the cannot ally against her -she still does horrible acts as the Ice Witch -she armed Trundle with his pure ice club so to ensure herserl an ally in the violent troll tribe with which she constantly attacks the other tribes -she still conspires with the watchers I love her, I truly do. she is easily one of my absolute favourite LoL champs, maybe even THE favourite, lore wise, but she is a villain.

It's insane how many 10/10 bangers there League has put out. Unfortunately I think you've reacted to most of the otherworldly good ones, but there's still a couple left. One I'd recommend is Everything Goes On, it's a bit of a change of pace but very very good Also feel free to try the game if you want haha. It's a really good MOBA, it's just that the nature of the game is very conducive to really toxic competition. So people mainly say "don't play it" because you'll frequently get teammates that are just super toxic to play with

I'm not going to lie, this is a video that brings me to tears just about every time. As someone who has battled (and yeah... it is a real battle a lot of the time) with self-doubt and the lack of faith from others, the fundamental message of this song/video is immensely powerful. All of those people are people whose teams lost to the team that wound up winning the championship the previous year, and the 'shadow selves' that you were seeing are their self-doubts in the face of that loss. You've got to conquer the monster in your head, and then you'll fly. That's not to say there aren't external monsters to conquer, but some of the worst ones to have to deal with are the ones that really feed the monster in your head. That's why it is... pretty much essential to be mindful of who you invest your time and energy into. Are they the ones that build you up or the ones that tear you down? Regardless of if they are the people who _should_ be doing the most to build you up... you have to be (at times) brutally honest about who builds you up and who tears you down. But in the end, all of these League videos... I love the fundamental message of overcoming adversity and pushing through the struggle.

Rookie's Lissandra - 2015 World's in EU, IG finished last in their groups, defeated by FNC, AHQ, and C9(posters in the subway), one of the "easiest" groups back then. His beautiful Lissandra performance won their last game vs C9, but it was filled with desperate, regret, and shame. It was LPL's worst year ever and he received A LOT of hate comments together with every other LPL player. The "genius mid"- GodV from 1st seed LGD changed his ID then finally retired afterwards due to the never-ending storm of hate comments. It was Rookie's 1st season in the LPL and it was the start of his 3yr disappearance from the world stage - the lowest moment in his career. 2018 World's quarterfinals, 3rd game vs KT Rolster, he failed to defend the base and IG lost the game by 2 autos on the Nexus. Caps' Irelia - 2018 World's FNC lost to IG, he went 0-4 then 1-6 on one of his best champ Irelia, and FNC got completely destroyed in the next two games as well. We all knew how confident Caps had been in the tournament and he did flex on various midlaners before the final, so it was huge destruction for him. Faker's Karma - 2017 World's SKT lost to SSG, in that ardent sensor meta, he picked Karma to fully support Bang. Being 0-2 but 4 drakes ahead in game 3, there was still hope for SKT. However, in the last fight, his misposition got caught by Ruler's Varus Flash+R and lost the game, and that is one of the direct reasons why he cried at the end. Now that he is back in the spotlight again, and he knows that there's only one enemy to him - the one watching behind the media crowd. These are the monsters in their heads. They need to fight these bad memories to become the real King this year!

Watching your reaction seems so familiar. I loved watching Arcane ( especially Caitlyn ), always cry watching the cinematics, playing them over and over again. It's true that the game is so frustrating 🤣🤣🤣 but then you recognize all the characters... the cinematics make them all come to live. That's why I love LOL so much. It's a whole concept, another world and being part of it makes you feel part of the family. Don't think there's anyone who can get at Riot's level of perfection. The worlds 2021 song has probably one of the coolest action sequences. (Burn it down is the name) Also why you should not play the game is because the genre is very niche. You either love it or hate it and there is no other game that does it like league for that genre. So that's why we say do not play it, it is not made for casual gamers and you will feel that when playing the game. BUT THERE ARE GAMES FOR CASUALS IN THIS UNIVERSE AND THEY ARE MAKING MORE OF IT! They are on steam and they are published by Riot Forge which is a publisher for all non-Riot games that want to make use of the IP's of Riot. Currently there are 3 games on steam that you can play with one being released very recent "The Mageseeker" and the larger one being released quite some time ago "Ruined King". Also there is Hextech Mayhem which is a small fun game, but nothing major.

I've only played the MOBA a few times, but I play the card game which has some lore descriptions on the cards. Just the MOBA genre is not my thing.
