When this was released according to guitarist Brian May It was the beginning of something quite big for us, because it was the first time that one of our records crossed over to the black community. Black radio stations,that usually played disco,funk,R & B,& & hip hop played this.They didnt know Queen was a rock band

Hey Rikk, Rodger and Brian are still alive and kicking and playing music like crazy people. They go on tour almost every summer. Actually I haven't checked but I think it's every summer and I know that Adam Lambert is their lead singer. He's not Freddy but he's got an amazing voice

They still play and tour with Adam Lambert as lead singer. He was a runner up on American Idol years ago and literally the only person who could even come close to filling Freddy’s shoes!

John Deacon (bass) wrote this song and it was a huge crossover hit for Queen. This was not going to be a single but Michael Jackson came to a Queen show in Los Angeles, heard this song and loved it. He convinced Queen that it should be a single and that it would do well. They did end up releasing it as a single and Michael was right. Brian is 76 and Roger is 74, John 72. Brian and Roger are still touring as Queen Plus Adam Lambert and selling out arenas around the globe. They are doing a North America tour starting in October and will do a Japan tour in the Spring. These may be the last tours as the guys are getting on in years. I think they will still do shows, but probably not tours as tours are really difficult on a lot of levels. Brian was just knighted earlier this year by Kind Charles. He spends a lot of his time in the defense of wild animals through his charity "Save Me" named after one of this songs he wrote for Queen.
