That song is so deep, he says to appreciate life and use time because you can't undo the time that passes. That's how it is in life, loved ones die and you blame yourself for never really caring about them...Time is merciless and leaves no room for compensation when time is up.

Great reaction. I love the Rammstein transition. The whole album is a gem. Rammstein songs are always worth watching until the end including credits. They put so much work and effort into their productions and everybody involved deserves to be named. Their end credits are also worth to be watched from visual and musical aspect.

YEA , they are a worthwhile reprise to let play ~ Rammstein credits tend to be like an echo ; a musical reflection that aid in introspection ... I Feel they really complete the piece ... For the most part with t.v. and movie credits you don't get that so i understand how a reactor might not consider it .

Do yourself a favor and watch the outro too. You don't make friends with the fans. Rammstein shows respect for the people who worked with them. Do that too! Also, the outro is partly part of the plot.

Rammstein is pure art. Love it. I really have an unbelievable song for your HOH month to react to. You never did Epica, the 2nd unbelievable Symphonic Metal Band next to Nightwish, you never did Apocalyptica, 4 cellos playing Metal, another must see. So please react to Epica feat. Apocalyptica "Rivers" AFAS live and you will discover one of the diamonds (Simone) in metal music singing an amazing ballad giving you goosies, goosies and yes... goosies.

Well, my interpretation of the sand motive: There is no concrete or stone in this video like you guessed there is, only sand. Also the death masks and the final memorial is made of (compressed) sand. And they all decay, get destroyed, the dead daughter leaves our world through the sand curtain with the (gentle) Reaper / the Time, crosses the mid-world where life is given by / from sand and vanishes in the final sand "waterfall" upwards without a trace. After a few generations no one will remember us. There is no eternity for us. The first scene (guys in the boat) running backwards puts us ahead of time: We as spectators already knew that the 6 men are doomed, dead and soon gone in the flow of time where they'll drown and vanish though they still struggle and have a faint hope to survive. They are dead humans like we all are as we will all die might it be today, tomorrow or in 50 years. A spectator from the future might look upon us like we look upon the sailors. Look their struggle, and all in vain as their fate is already written. The three black shapes might represent the three Norns near the tree Yggdrasill. These giantesses (look how tall they are in the video!) allocate the child's fate. They appear at child's birth and even help the mother, foster Yggdrasill and tell how long the child will live, they are Urd, Verdandi and Skuld. There is so much beauty and brutality in the video, it leaves you sad yet stronger. Going through midlife-crises myself it helps me finding my place in life and accept the fact that I am not immortal.

Good reaction, BUT, as many who are new to Rammstein, you made a big mistake : their music videos are way above others, different order of magnitude. This particular video has to be seen to the last moment, because in the last second there's something very important, tied to the theme of the song. Also, why not play the credits, the people involved deserve it. The sand sculpture at the end is hand carved SAND, not an CGI. Too much thought, work, details, art involved to discard it lightly as unimportant. This way you insult all involved, not only the band members. (us fans also). Please, next time, be patient and see it through.

Great reaction! Rammstein are one of my absolute favourites. The three figures are the Norns (or Time Keepers) who are deities in Germanic mythology and are responsible for shaping human destiny. Their names are Urðr (past), Verðandi (present) and Skuld (future). The Norns also care for and protect the Yggdrasill (the worlds' tree") which stands at the center of the universe and connects the nine worlds (Asgard, Vanaheim, Alfheim, Midgard,Jötunheim, Muspelheim, Nidavellir, Niftheim and Helheim) The most profound moment of this video for me was the 'last intake of breath' in the very last second of the outro. If you ever get a chance to see them live, take it. One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. Drove 16 hours to watch them for my little brother’s memorial and holy shit. You can feel the heat of the flames kiss your face to epic songs with a great community of people.
