Ray has so many great songs. I've listened to him since I found a Harry the Hairy Ape 45 at my grandmothers house in the late 70's. Bridgett the Midget is a favorite of mine as well.

Ahab the Arab, Guitarzan, Sitting up with the Dead, The Streak, It's me again Margaret and many more. The Streak! I was in the fifth grade when that came out in 1974... and of course all the kids loved it...and our parents hated it. It's pure comedy gold! Shriner's Convention is an absolute scream too. You will be shaking your head in disbelief. A real Shriner once told me it was more documentary than one would think. Yes, Ray Stevens has a great voice. He also has done serious music over the years. One of his biggest non-comedy hits was Everything is Beautiful. Ray is still around at age 83 (almost 84) and still sings onstage.

Look up The Streak, too. (Though you'll have to be informed that "streaking", or running around nude at public events, was briefly a craze in the 70s.) Cracks me up that the church in the Squirrel Revival video has actually been lettered FIRST SELF-RIGHTEOUS CHURCH. As if there'd actually be frankness of that order!
