The intro is composed by Edvard Grieg, Norwegian composer, his piano concert in A minor.

It was Ren playing the piano and he said once that he worked his ass off to get to that point because he isn´t a pianist...that intro part is actually an adaptation of the beginning of Edvard Grieg´s piano concerto in A minor Op16 beautifully arranged and played by Ren...and then the transition into that Bossa Nova like rhythm is then Ren´s composition till to the end of the song..although at the beginning when he starts telling the story from year 1 -13 the piano part is still influenced by Grieg´s first intro bars but shifted then from year 14 on completely into something else....tremendous composing by Ren.

REN composed, produced and he did indeed play piano in the intro. He needed a pianist to play while he performed. There is a lot of behind the scenes on his Patreon. Only one cut because of the rain at the end. They did more than 200 takes to get the final product and what you see is an entire take prior to the wheelchair (when they span around him) they did one cut up until then, so they wouldn’t ruin everything they got prior to setting up the rain. I think it’s always safe to assume he has his fingers in all of the pies. ❤ I like your chemistry. Very good reaction. Big love to you both. ❤️

Money game part 1 was about 184 takes that was over a few days, I’m sure money game part 3 was about 13-14 takes for the first part up until the cut at the wheelchair and about 6-7 after that till the end. Ren only had 1 suit that why they cut where they did as once it rained that was the point of no return. This was filmed over a day. Wolf Johnson just released a behind the scenes video.

Where on Earth did you get 'more than 200 takes' from? Complete nonsense! The only live Ren video that came anywhere close tothat was MG1 and that was just because it was Ren and Sam's first attempt at a live, 1 take video and the underestimated the complexities of the format. They only had one day of shooting for MG3 and nowhere close to 24 hours at that. Even ignoring the time needed for setting up each take, breaks and sleep there wouldn't be enough time in 24 hours to do 200+ takes, never mind the 14 hours or so that it actually took.

As other have said, Ren is a self taught pianist and he played the intro - and composed it all (intro heavily borrowed from Greig), however the concert pianist he brought in to play the rest live, had to take the midi composed piano part Ren gave him and had to translate it into something that could actually be played, and Ren in the behind the scenes that WolfJohnson filmed, is clearly enamoured of what the pianist (who’s name I should have checked) had done as he wishes he’d had longer to learn from him how to play it live as Ren anticipates performing this live at the piano when he’s fit enough to take on doing live performances again.

That was absolutely Ren playing the piano at the start. You can tell from the rings on his fingers too. The guy who interupted, took over the piano. That's why you saw Ren go to the mirror. I get frustrated when people who have seen a few of his performances, underestimate him. I hope NOW you see what a GOD he is.

I think Ren plays like 12 instruments, but mostly guitar, piano, bass and drums. He composed all the orchestration after the Greig intro. He's mostly self-taught on instruments, but I think his early days (10 or 12-years-old) selling samples and beats really influenced him into designing sonics that fit his words. I look forward to your reactions. As musicians, I think you'd really enjoy the first song of his new album, "Seven Sins." Alongside "Illest of Our Time," it's one of my favorites on the Sick Boi album. For upbeat oldies, try Ren with Eden Nash, "Ocean" &/or "Humble." Great reaction!

In the lyrics, he wasn't talking about human trafficking when he mentioned Cuba, but in the US we've had an embargo on Cuba since back when Che Guavara became a symbol of revolution, so a Cuban cigar has been symbolic for us in the United States. A Cuban cigar is not a narcotic like cocaine from Colombia but was still smuggled in from Cuba because it was illegal.

That was Ren playing piano at the beginning. Ren plays about a dozen instruments well. Half of them RIDICULOUSLY well! All self-taught! He also composed and arranged the music for piano and strings and, as always, produced everything himself. Ren's a musical genius! Get used to the fact. :)

I think you missed the fact that the person interrupting the intro piano was not the same as Ren, when he took his moneybag off. There was room for a sneaky cut but I think he's the one playing the intro and that he wrote that part as well? Someone correct me. Also the rings on his fingers are a good hint, or misdirection. Ren taught himself to play guitar, bass, piano, drums and beatbox if you have any doubt Ren was playing the piano then just watch the BTS making of Money Game part 3. You can witness a 👀 "Shirtless Ren"👀 playing some classical music and before that rehearsing this song for the shoot. After you watch all that you'll never doubt again if that's really Ren. 🤣👍.

Why is the video slightly transparent? Is it for copywrite? If it is then don't worry about that. Ren likes reactors making money from his music/videos. He knows that it was reactors who blew up Hi Ren to over 10 million views! He said in an interview that it's great that reactor channels are making money from his videos, and he also said it's KZbin who are paying them, not him, so why would he have a problem with that.

You may want to watch or react to his 1M subscriber video "on success" to hear his views on reactors being part of his success. Earlier this year he was commenting on a lot of reactors videos, thanking them directly. Chinchilla has a similar view And this doesn't just apply to positive reactions, you can tear apart his work and still monetise. The only thing he gets wrong is the utopia bit. Individuals are more important than the herd because you can't fractionate the oppressed and come up with a one sized fits all approach to fix everyone. If Individuals better themselves, then a colective can get better. And utopia is impossible because greed will always exist in our current state as humans. I love Star Trek and would like that future, but nah its not realistic. The best solution is competition in a free market. The biggest dangers to society is socialism, marxism and communism.
