Great reaction, thanks for posting!! Rick is ‘legend’, and still performing. He just did an amazing set at Glastonbury this past week or so. Another amazing ‘acoustic cover’ he did a couple of years ago during lockdown is Foo Fighter’s Everlong, it’s posted on his KZbin site!!

Rick's voice blew EVERYONE away when his music first came out. People hearing it on the radio just assume it was being sung by a black man or at the very least someone with the build of a quarterback. Then they saw the video and this short white boy and they were all like "Whhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa??? No way he is the singer."

Along with Kylie Minogue, Laura Branigan, and Bananarama their signature sound propelled them to the top of the charts. You need to come to Hawaii and bring that party energy with you and I will play all those mega-hits you enjoy from the 70s 80s and 90s🥳🥳🥳

Definitely not a one hit wonder. My personal favourite is called You Move Me - which was used in many 80's movie trailers. Super fun to dance to. He also has She Wants to Dance With Me - and Together Forever. And he is still making amazing music today.

Rick does have a number of hits and is extremely talented, You don't hear as much from him in the States but the man is a Legend and deserves that capitol "L". He has several albums from later in his career that really shows off his talent which is much more that the Pop that most people are used to hearing from him. Actually, his version of "I can't help falling in love with you" is probably just as good, if not better, than Elvis (I may get some flak for that one)
