We absolutely gave our hearts to Bobby Hatfield singing Unchained Melody…we recognized it with the first 3 notes on the radio and dropped everything to listen to it one more time….this was the music the boomers grew up with. I was 14 y.o. and now almost 74 y.o. 50 years later, still absolutely love it. Bobby owns this song and no one else comes close. Heart, soul, and incredible vocals..at age 25. Loved your genuine reactions to this beautiful music…thank you.

@@CjJohnson-kf1oz I don't dispute anything you said about Bobby Hatfield's incredible performance. But he suffered from serious stage fright all his life, which sadly led him into drugs to cope. One of the best duo's ever. I saw them live several times. This has got to be one of my favorite songs. He killed it.

This is just so lovely. Back when people could really sing, as many others have said with no gimmicks, no audio correct, no help. Just that stunning once in a lifetime voice, what a gift. What a legacy he left though. This stunning song that we are still listening to, and talking about today. 😊 I'm old enough to remember when artists got to No:1 based on record sales alone. 5his song has been covered by many, but in my opinion it was never better than THIS 😊

Bobby takes his time with this song. Every woman on the planet gets it. Go back and listen to banter they do before the song.

OMG, the late Bobby Hatfield singing this beautiful song. I was 15 yrs old when I watched him sing this beautiful song on the Andy Williams show. No one ever sung this like he did. He owns this song. No auto tunes, just pure raw talent. He owns this song, and no one sang it like he did. RIP Bobby! We miss hearing your beautiful voice. ❤❤❤

5:29 his voice is so beautiful it made you ANGRY! 🤣Seriously...his voice is like if an angel and some honey made a baby together. I get chills a lot with lots of different parts in lots of different songs but this is perhaps the only song I get pre-chills knowing what's coming. Legendary.
