My favorite era of The Rolling Stones is from the 60's. I loved the "Flowers" album. They had a lot of great early hits such as "Paint It Black", "Ruby Tuesday", "Get Off Of My Cloud", "Let's Spend The Night Together", "Satisfaction", "Jumpin' Jack Flash", "Honky Tonk Women", "Tumbling Dice", "Brown Sugar" etc.

It's from their TV show in England "Rolling Stones Circus". That episode also had the Who, Jethro Tull on it. Showing my age. It wad showing recently on PBS

The performance in this video was the very first time the Stones ever played this song live. The studio version of "You Can't Always Get What You Want" from their album "Let It Bleed" hadn't been released yet when this was filmed. I've always found that it's a richer experience to listen to the studio version of a song before hearing any live performance. First time on this song, he did about 5 other songs of the the Stones before (don't even get me started on other bands/artists). All first time's (still very unbelievable, but he's not the only one, kids from late 90's and after, all seemed to have lived under a very very very thick rock somewhere). But he's open to it and learning alot

You might have heard a fairly recent song including the lyrics "moves like Jagger" ? This is one of the video's that is probably a basis for that song 😄 They're still going strong about 60 years in (makes they around 80years old) , only the drummer (charlie Watts) passed away a few years ago

I wouldn't normally switch bands on a recommendation but another performance on this show was The Dirty Mac. John Lennon, guitar great Eric Clapton, Stones' guitarist Keith Richards (on bass), and Mitch Mitchell, drummer for Jimi Hendrix, do the Beatles' song Yer Blues. Great great great!

I would argue that the Stones are way bigger. The Beatles never filled a stadium and couldn't last. Stones fill stadiums all the time and 60+ years performing.
