Roxette. Those were the daze. 80s were the best. Music of my Youth. My taste was very eclectic, but mostly metal and rock. RIP Marie. She commands that stage. If you feel the song, let it play on..

They were a Swedish duo - Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle. Marie was a wonderful songwriter in her own right, but it was mainly Per who wrote for Roxette. He is a prolific songwriter and never gets the credit he deserves in these reactions! As Roxette they recorded 10 studio albums together between 1986 and 2016. This video was filmed during their 1988 tour of Sweden and is in the ruins of a castle. Their video for Dangerous was filmed there too. Per takes the lead on that one, but Marie sings on it as well. Might be nice to react to that one next.

Vocalist Marie Fredriksson is another one we've lost in recent years. She died in 2019, at age 61.

There was a techno cover version of this in 2000 by DHT f. Edmee that I remember playing on the radio a lot in Canada for a while. Actually, I think everything in 2000 was pretty much a remix 😂.

Let's face it, Marie was Beautiful, She was Hot! She had an Amazing Voice. We lost her too soon. Sadly, she passed away in 2019 (Brain Tumor). RIP Marie.
