First Time Hearing SKILLET - Awake And Alive "REACTION"

I say this in like every reaction video. But Jen Ledger is the hidden gem in the music industry. She is so multi talented. She is amazing on the drums. Has the most beautiful voice. She used to play bass in the band she was in before Skillet when she was 17. She also can play the acoustic guitar at least. She has been learning the piano during lockdown too. Throw on top of all of that she is an awesome artist too. She did the art work for Skillets album Rise. She also has a store where she sells some of her art. It's also funny that you said she's like the girl from paramore if she hated people. Because Jen is actually one of if not the sweetest person you will see. She is like the most wholesome Rockstar ever. Her side band LEDGER to me is the perfect band. Its the only music I have ever connected too. It is also one of reasons I am still alive today. Her music has encouraged me to keep living and not to give up.

The drummer/singer is Jen Ledger. She is great. She does a lot of back-up vocals in a lot of their songs like this one. She also did a solo project. A couple of good songs from that to check out are Warrior, and Not Dead Yet. She named her side gig Ledger. By the way, they are still touring, I just saw them last Saturday.

Jaron, I'm an old Southern Rocker and had a band from 1979 - 81 where I was lead guitarist and singer with my friend Al owner of the Funky Biscuit in Boca Raton, FL. We played Skynyrd, Outlaws, Allman Bros, and REO SPeedwagon and more. My sons listened to this band Skillet and a band named Red a lot when they 1st came out. I neglected it because I liked a different sound and less violent presentation. Laid back Ronnie Van Zandt and band. John Cooper is amazing. He, his wife and band are amazing people sweeping the country and world to help people make sense of it all with a splash of hope for everyone. Enjoyed the reaction. Ben Koops in Him.

Jen totally changed the band when she joined. Their previous drummer I think helped train her before she retired and Jen took over as their drummer when she was I believe only 18 years old. Her joining led to them featuring her in a more vocal role as well and it basically changed their sound with this new angelic voice helping John sing. She is just so amazing.

Sorry I missed the premier….. I was passed out. But I love your reactions live and seeing it again makes me so happy. The woman drummer’s name is Jen Ledger. She joins Skillet in 2008 when she was 18 years old. She is very talented. Skillet has been a Christian rock band for awhile too. I’d recommend listening to Hero, Undefeated, Lion, Whispers in the Dark, Burn it Down, The Resistance, and Legendary

I just saw Skillet in concert at King's Island Ohio Saturday. Their live show is amazing. Awake and Alive is over 10 years old and they have put out a lot of music since then. They haven't let up, still a rockin sound and Jen Ledger is as wonderful as ever. She put out a solo project a couple years ago but is still Skillet's drummer and backup vocalist.
