This song blends Finnish folk rock & polka with Steve.n flock's gift of Argrntine Tango something she embraced from Maecello's heritage. Work your way through her solo work and you will see how she has grown. New styles, elements, range, only getting better with age. This is from an episode of their show from 2021. Tarja has 3 albums out this year. First is her dream project 10 years in the making, Outlanders an electronic music project with Torsten Sterzel famous DJ in Germany but his origins go to Antugia in the British Carriebean. The album tells the story of the island and it's people. Invited were some world class guitarists. the visuals are as lush as the music. There is her 1st Greatest hits released in Dec 22 called living the dream and that tour was ongoing up until her break to release the aformentioned Dark Chridtmas. Tour dates being announced. And of course a concert back in 2016 Rocking heels from Wacken Music Festival recorded in Wacken Metal Church a night before the open air concert. Under 200 invite only to see her do acoustic covers of her favourite 90' metal songs. Also from her last hard rock album in 2018 she recorded an entirely live show with choir and orchestral members on a round stage surrounded by fans called Circus Life put out last December from a concert in March 2020. Tarja has announced a new rock album for 2024. Her 10th LP to date. I really have to say 25 years of skill, training and experience have put her far and above what she was allowed to do in NW. I am not disrespecting what they did but a band must accommodate every member hopefully equally and then you are usually confined to the style and formulas you are famous for. Labels put up big money and hate risky artistic statements vs proven money. When you have the.established credentials and a trusting label then you can really experiment. Helps being the.l name and face and voice of your own brand. Freedom to try different things and prevent burnout and complacency. There is a world of content. Things rocking harder and faster then NW and still with classical training at it's base. Enjoy the journey and you to may find yourself amongst her Winter Storm fan community.

Wonderful Tarja. I never really liked Sleeping Sun, but I love this cover. She just released the Dark Christmas album. She turned familiar songs upside down and gave them a haunting sound. The whole album is amazing. You should check out O Holy Night.

@@Boa_Omega es verdad pero en ese entonces aún su banda no estaba consolidado del todo hubo varios cambios como por ejemplo el baterista y guitarra creo que también la parte de teclados en fin entre 2006 y 2007 Tarja Turunen crea su propia banda con el nombre de Tarja eso sí que nunca cambio el nombre de su banda 😊
