I commented in your last video but I will say it again... Miss Americana Documentary of Taylor... just puts her in perspective her story and how she found her voice.... it really shows how life has transformed her and her career into the icon she is. That documentary if you watch it and are not a fan of her music I cannot understand how you would not be a fan of Taylor the human she is. She is an incredible inspiration 💗

When my daughter was around 5 years old (she's 18 now), whenever this song came on the car radio, she would yell from the backseat "it's the Princess song", because of the line "you'll be the prince and I'll be the princess". So even to this day whenever I hear this song and she's around, I'll say "Hey it's the Princess song".

This is an older song, from her second album “Fearless.” What she does brilliantly, and better than any other artist could, is create new arrangements of her songs. And in this particular case, it drops the country and made to fit her 1989 pop sound. She’s flawless and her talent is infinite.

One of Taylor's biggest goals when creating a concert experience is to try to get as close to as many fans as she possibly can. For 1989 it was the cool rotating platform. Reputation had two B-stages at the back of the venue that she FLIES to from the main stage in a sparkly basket thing as she sings 'Delicate.' Eras Trou has the big stage that extends about 2/3 to the back of the arena. It's such a vibe!

If you want to hear her talk before singing, the Grammy Museum performances are a good choice. My favorite is Out of the Woods on the piano - she first talks about what the song means to her, and the performance is absolutely beautiful. I also want to say that if you ever did live Taylor streams on Twitch I would sign up for that SO FAST.

I’m older than Taylor by 20+ years. Her early stuff was a little too bubble-gum pop to me so I never paid much attention to the lyrics and I listened to much different music. Then the pandemic hit and she started putting out a ton of different sounding music that was in the singer-songwriter vibe that I love so much. I bought Folklore and Evermore, then Midnights. Then, I watched the Miss Americana doc and the Long Pond Sessions and I really started admiring who she was as a person. In the last couple of months I started consuming reaction videos to her songs and got to love 1989 and Reputation, so I bought those and Red (all TV’s). I’m waiting for Rep and TS TV to be released and will buy those next. Yeah, full-on Swiftie now.

It's only 30 minutes, but if you want more videos that will endear you to Taylor because she introduces each song and her thought process behind the song, interacts with people, makes silly jokes, gets personal, as well as hearing her completely unproduced, without any backing vocals or production, with only her and her guitar/piano, I HIGHLY recommend her Tiny Desk NPR mini-concert, which is available on KZbin and is absolutely incredible. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fKe5n4NufJt8itU
@NNSMOM10 ай бұрын
The Tiny Desk is the best performance because it’s just her, intimate, and talking to the fans like cherished friends. ❤ As for the 1989 tour: the whole thing was incredible. I had a young Swiftie who first became obsessed with the Speak Now CD and forced her brothers to listen everyday as we traveled to school (her kindergarten and them upper elementary. She was about to start 5th grade for 1989 World Tour.)When we scored tickets for San Diego in August 2015, it was the single best concert of my life. Even my husband who went to watch over us said it was the best show of his life- and that’s saying a lot because we grew up with incredible 80s concerts. My young had the best time with ALL of it: Taylor, music, production, lights, crowd, all the chatty people before we entered the venue, and the merch! Such special memories. You have to see her if you ever get the chance. This 53 year old Swiftie will remember it for the rest of my life.

She’s such an epic performer and songwriter bc what she does picks the raw nerve of every feeling you remember and all the ones you made yourself forget. She brings us emotions in a synthetic world. And we’re all human and all of us feel these things. She opens up a channel for us all to feel together these emotions that are somehow personal and universal. So much of entertainment now ignores the heart.

Love Story is the first song I ever heard from Taylor. I saw her perform it on a talk show in 2008 when she was promoting the Fearless album. I loved the storytelling in it. It took me YEARS to not cry and choke up to either listen or sing along to “he knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said….. talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress…” When I saw her do this song at The Eras Tour, the tears poured out - it was my first Taylor concert. Also when you watch live shows, quite often she’ll give a talk just before she sings, the staging for every concert tour is all her planning, she already has the tour in her head as she writes every song, she even plans the dance moves, how many dancers, the colour of the wrist bands for each song and her costumes and exactly where the costume changes will occur. Congrats on 400 k 🎉 so awesome 🎉🥳 I would also add to the list of things to check out from Taylor Swift: Marjorie, My Tears Ricochet and Tolerate It from the ERAs Tour. Dress from the Reputation Stadium Tour and Shake It Off from the 1989 tour 😂😂. There is so much to check out from what she does. Keep being awesome 🥳🙏

it would be very lovely if you react to "cardigan," "august," and "betty" from her album "folklore." These three songs are interconnected by a storyline about teenage love triangle: a guy cheating on his girlfriend with another girl during summer. The lyrics in this album are very intricate and definitely needs layers upon layers of deep understanding. This album won her her third Grammy's Album of the Year for a reason.
