The Cult is an awesome band, they evolved over time but always sounded like the Cult. Their music is 80s but their own unique style that is parts Punk, Hard Rock and Psychedelia. They still are in my regular rotation, they were a great band then but timeless as their music still sounds great and alive. Do the official video for Fire Woman next to see them several years after what you just saw as they produced amazing hard rock on the legendary album, Sonic Temple. Huge Hit on MTV. Enjoy! 🔥🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶🔥

Super reaction!...Although i grew up with same time as The Cure i have only recently listened to a few of their songs. Great sound, creative, original and a terrific band. This is such a great song. Never ages. Again great band but for some people they are underrated,maybe due to so many great bands around at the time of the 80s particularly mid 1980s when this great single was released in 1985.

Ian's got the moves 👍 Ian uses a lot of spiritual influence in his music including Budokan and Native American. FYI: first they were "Southern Death Cult" then just "Death Cult" then later "The Cult"

Back when I first saw the Cult Video's, I thought Ian Astbury was an Southwest "Apache" American Indian . Long black Raven hair and the song's they sang were spiritual and women based.
