1969 I was in Los Angeles with my family visiting other family members. Tom Jones was appearing at the Greek theater, oh my God. My uncle who was luckily an insider got us three tickets… It was sold out when we got there. For two hours on stage and the place was sold out Tom Jones hypnotized that audience including us with his Voice, his moves and his superior talent one of the greatest concerts I’ve ever seen and I was 21 years old. I am so excited that I saw him very early on in his career and it was a happening

My favorite Tom Jones is his performance of "Delilah" from the Ed Sullivan Show Apr 1968. He had quite a few hits from the late 60s to early 70s, then he dropped out of the limelight for several years until in the 1980s he made a come back by covering Prince's "Kiss" with the Art of Noise.

Hi from England I have been a FAN of Tom since the mid 1970's. He just had CHARISMA like ELVIS. Could you imagine both of them on STAGE together AWESOME😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤👌but the song and video should have been headed "TREAT THOSE 2 SISTERS RIGHT" HA HA There is a video of Tom singing LOVE MACHINE from a TV show mid 70's OH MY He wore black BELL bottom TROUSERS and a pinkish red blouson SHIRT All i can say is HOW HE MANAGED TO GET INTO THOSE TROUSERS -LET ALONE OUT OF THEM. THEY SHOWED OFF HIS MANLY PHYSIQUE and he wore a pair of HIGH HEELED SHOES IF YOU REACT ITS AWESOME.

You guys forgot that Tom Jones among other entertainers like Elvis....and James Brown....Mick Jagger.....and it was all about "Soul" and women or being "the ladies man." Like The Beatles he was very popular especially when danced.....These guys paved the way for other artist like Prince...Michael Jackson....Justin Timberlake....and many more artist to come. He and James.....and Elvis set the standard of entertainment.😉

This was last year & he's still got it. All the girls love him & guys want to be him. You also check out Elvis from 1970 Love Me Tender. He goes in the audience and kisses all the girls. Their guys didn't care because they knew they were getting some later on.

there was a question as to whether Tom Jones was black. His mother was unsure of her ancestry and eventually he had DNA tests which showed black ancestry, although thats not odd in many people (and look at pictures of him now). You can also find older videos of him when he was more of a blues and rock singer. He is a very interesting man

I've gotta admit, I LIKE it when Asia drops all her armor and just stares ... or drools, because you KNOW she gets it ... but to have both of you dumbfounded and loving a performance like this ... well, it's just really special to see. I have an old soul, as I have been told, and I was just a little boy when he was doing this. He was my mom's favorite artist and so, you know, I saw every one of his performances that was possible to see, and at between ages 5 and 10, watching TJ doing this stuff, I KNEW what he meant, why and how he meant it, and it was so funny cause, my friends didn't have a clue about any of it. I was always wondering why. It seemed obvious to me. True story ... When I was in kindergarten, we always had too many kids for the number of cots they had, so some of us had to sleep on the floor for the afternoon nap. Of course, I was 1 of the "unfortunates". Anyway, I remember purposefully positioning my towel in such a way that girls had to step over me to get to the bathroom so I could ... well, maybe that's a subject for another day ... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 let's just say I was very aware of things, even when I was very young. C'mon, relax ... I was only 5 years old for Pete's sake.

Your right. That was pretty much ornery for that year. He was a heart throb in his days. I don’t know if you know this or not but he was a very good friend of Elvis Presley.
