Tom doesn’t hate anyone! He uses satire in his music and most people just don’t get it!! It’s a daring and creative song. It’s a huge topic and I watch all of Toms reviews and this is the one I hold my breath for a lot of times because people just don’t understand the satirical method he’s using to say something very important and very real. Everybody Hates Me, People So Stupid, Buttholes; many people like them and many people don’t understand them. If I was Black and White Boy - not satire- are always interesting reactions to watch also because you can usually see on the persons face whether they’re going to actually listen or just let the song play out and then say how much they hated it. The people who listen to what he’s actually saying usually love it. I think what’s going on in our society today is that it’s becoming more and more the norm for people to start with “I’m offended now prove to me why I shouldn’t be”. Tom’s an extremely intelligent guy and he likes to try to force people to put a little thought into what they’re listening to. He said one time that when he’s in a group or public place and he hears people talking and they suddenly lower their voice that that’s when he listens in because that’s when people say the real shit that they are unwilling or unable to say out loud and that inspires him. I always tell people that Tom makes music about things that already exist in society. He’s not making them up, he’s speaking on them. And the shock value is used purposefully to make people stop and think. If your jaw drops and you pause the video that means your brain just got a little zap. Now you have to think about it a second, “wait am I offended”? Yes? No? I don’t know... I think I’m supposed to be(?). So right there Tom has accomplished his goal and his music has served a purpose. It made you think. What you ultimately decide about what he just said will be based on a lot of things but just the act of forcing people to clear away a little brain fog and open up some internal dialogue is what’s important. Toms music is enjoyed on many levels by many segments if society and I LOVE it because I’m such a huge fan. But there are some people, and you are one of us, that see what he’s doing on a much deeper level. Every time someone pauses the video and sort of stares for a second and says “huh, I never thought of it like that before,” I smile :) HOG4EVER 🤘🤘🤘

You should watch If I Was Black. Tom had an experience (nothing serious or negative) that made him think about what it must be like to be black in America. So he wrote that song, and his distribution company refused to release it at the last minute stating people in their office were offended by it. Tom was piisssssed off! He made a video about it and was like, they release horror core songs about chopping people up, but won't release his song. You should watch that as well actually, it's posted on his KZbin channel. Wish I could remember how he titled it.

As has been mentioned before, the obvious next suggestions would be the beef between Tom and Mac Lethal that spawned from this song. There are 3 in total: Lethal Injection (Tom, includes screenshots at the beginning of the tweets starting it all), Single White Female (Mac Lethal, dropped nearly a week after Lethal Injection), and finally Mac Lethal Sucks (Tom, dropped less than 36 hours after Mac's response) Being a beef thing, you won't get the usual Tom messages but they're fun in their own right. It should be noted that Tom has since said that he'll never do another diss track towards a specific person because he hated the way it made him feel. Almost a year late, but I don't know how to explain to you just how impactful "The police are to us as the ATF is to you" is. For those of us into guns, it's an immediate perspective alignment that's otherwise impossible not from lack of empathy, but lack of analogous experience. It crosses the barrier of "That sounds like a load of learned or taught paranoia," to, "Oh, I know exactly what you're talking about." The ATF are the very example used to rally anti-government sentiment amongst certain groups. They fucked up in Waco twice to great tragic disaster, murdered a family at Ruby Ridge, and are guilty of the most malicious policing imaginable, to such extent that they were caught attempting to entrap a mentally challenged man into committing a federal firearms offense. These are the same people that have no shit declared that having shoelaces and certain guns can be construed as constructive intent to manufacture a machine gun, can't decide what gun parts are legal or illegal with annually changing opinions that are functional legislation, literally can not tell the difference between a pistol and a rifle but will arrest you on federal charges for it anyway, will sell you an illegal part just to track it, etc etc etc. While almost irrelevant in most peoples lives, there's always that small but real chance they'll decide to put you in their list of people or things to fuck with, up, or sideways.

The #1 problem in this country starts with the virtual segregation created by the Democrat Party who swears they want equality. Yet if a person with white skin, brown skin, & black skin were all born on the same day in Philadelphia one is labeled Hispanic - another is labeled African - and the one with white skin is referred to as an American. Equality is referring to all as simply American. This why we could all be on the same team which would be beneficial since we all are playing the same game.

It may help you to understand Tom, he is from Canada, and it was a culture shock for him when he move to America and saw how intense people were about certain things. It also allows him to have a more open and aware view of American issues as he’s not embroiled in it.

Yeah so the mac lethal beef started because of this song so now you kinda gotta do that lol. Tom did Lethal Injection. Mac did Single White Female. Then Tom did Mac Lethal Sucks.
