"Will they be alive tomorrow?" - meaning will all these pop stars and 1 hit wonders be remembered? Probably not - but making meaningful music will never be forgotten

This album had a heavy reggae feel. They were stoked that their label was stoked on it. And, of course, it blew up and set records.

The lyrics written in the minute 5:19 of this video and in the minute 2:25 of the official MV have a lot of meaning! That is: "Why do I kneel to these concepts? Tempted by control. controlled by temptation. Stay low, they say. Stay low."

Love that you're still exploring 21 Pilots 💜 I think you'll love Heavydirtysoul, especially the album version. Each time you see these guys live they play different takes on many of their songs, often like they're from almost a totally different genre. So when you get to that song, the first reaction should be the album version.

Love all your reactions simply because you do it your way! And I think more an more people see that it IS better to go their own way, because staying in a box where you keep a lot of other people happy simply will break you. That is one of the biggest reasons for mental illnesses. Especially being depressed, witch I see as a deep-rest you need to take from others, but mostly who you have become because of others pressure. And I LOVE twenty one pilots for just being who they want to be. Tyler once said in an interview that he only makes music he would listen to himself, not what others tell him to make. That is respect! You should definitely check out "Fairly Local" and "Message man" by twenty one pilots! =D Thank you for you reactions! Love from Norway!

Their earlier stuff was a lot more adventurous than what they're doing now. They used to specialize in crazy tempo changes, genre changes within the same song. They experimented with many types of music, it was awesome to hear. But lately their songs are more formulaic, no real genre changes within the songs anymore... it's too bad.

It’s a bad idea to ever hit stop before the end of the track. The overall theme of the song is the music industry. They think it’s a highway. You’ve got your rock lane. You’ve got your country lane. You’ve got your pop lane. T0P was being told to stay in their lane. But the industry is toxic. And the same people who are telling them to stay in their lane, are they even going to be around next year? Because T0P will be! What is it about a perfect person you see on instagram? They are fake. And he’s saying the same is true with a perfect song. It’s been auto tuned. And they use pro-tools to fix every little flaw. So much that there is no life left in it. It’s a “perfect” song, but it’s still garbage. Then you see that fame and success are in the hasmat suits. Again, they are toxic. What you missed in the last few seconds is fame and success bowing to Tyler. He does not bow to them.
