Strings Attached was Aug 2019 at the Paramount. 2018 was The Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour (77 shows with a different cover song for each set) - that was at the Moore theater. Al seem to love playing in the Puget Sound. :)

Elevator girl is Kristen Schaal. She was a regular on The Daily Show (idk if she still is, I haven't watched that in years) and is also the voice of Louise on Bob's Burgers.

Kristen Schaal was in the elevator, she's an actor/comedian/writer...most recently seen playing the daughter of George Carlin's character in the third Bill & Ted movie. Also does a lot of voice work, Mabel Pines in Gravity Falls among other things. You also left out Eric Stonestreet. I think he's on Modern Family.

Notice how in addition to the actors he got to co-star in the video he also had it all done as a single take? Part of which involved him rushing down 4 flights of stairs and a costume change before he came back in at the end of the video. Not only is his writing spot-on hilarious, he’s a technical genius when it comes to production.

You were talking about people knowing they made it when Wierd Al covered them. This is a more common feeling than you can believe. Lin-Manuel Miranda, who won a Pulitzer Prize, an Emmy, a Grammy, and a Tony for his various works (most especially the musical "Hamilton") was once asked what the absolute high point of his career, and he said when he first heard Wierd Al cover one of his songs. (Miranda even said that he was more thrilled by meeting Wierd Al than he was of meeting Barack and Michelle Obama.
