I'm gonna blow your mind and tell you that Vlad , their Drummer since late '16 , is a Classically trained Pianist since a child. Killer riff meister on Guitar too. He moonlights as a Drummer with Jinjer. \m/ I saw and met Jinjer last fall. They are incredibly powerful live. Tatiana is 5' 4" and 95 LBS. soaked. She is so sweet. I gave her a Cookie Monster T-Shirt. : ) Enjoy the Jinjer ride. There are twists , turns and surprises throughout all of their music!

They don't really do solos, instead they release single-instrument or sometimes to of them performing playthroughs. The guitar at the end of this, and one in cloud factory are as close as they get to solos. Oh the bass outro of bad water. Judgement & Punishment is their other song with reggae. Pit Of Consciousness live in Kiev has the most savage growls of anything they've released. Modern performances of Who Is Gonna Be The One are up there too - Tatiana's vocal skills are constantly growing.

My favourite thing about Jinjer is that Roman (guitar) basically acts as the rhythmic glue, filling the role the bass normally occupies. It allows Eugene (bass) and Vlad (drums) to throw in so much funk without it becoming a disjointed mess. It's pretty rare for guitarists to be willing to step back in the composition, but there are never gratuitous solos that take away from the rest of Jinjer's songs.

If you would like to hear another incredible live performance with a bit of reggae, listen to the live performance of Judgement and Punishment from Melbourne earlier this year. I think it's my favorite Jinjer song, you should check it out even if not for the channel. I think you guys are right that what makes Jinjer so special is that all of them are incredible musicians, it's not a gimmick band with a girl who can growl, they have so much going on in their music and they are so obviously skilled, it's kind of thrilling to watch them. I've suggested these in other Jinjer reaction videos, so I'm going to suggest them here as well: If you want to see her unrelenting vocals and a song that's absolutely brutal and awe inspiring, you need "Sit, Stay, Roll Over" in your life. If you want to see what she can do full clean vocals all the way through, you need "Bad Water" in your life. If you want to see an excellent mix along with a kick ass video, watch "I Speak Astronomy" Official Video. The best description I ever saw was "it's Lady Gaga, but metal", and is my personal favorite song by them so far. If you want experimental, check out "Judgement (& Punishment)" official video to see their reggae vibe mixed with metal and a chorus that has a sick polyrhythm in it. But to be honest, Jinjer doesn't have a bad song, and you need more of their older stuff in your life... you just don't know it yet. "Outlander", "A Plus or a Minus", "No Horde of Value", and "Cloud Factory" is the greatest 4 opening tracks I've heard in a long time. Honestly, their entire "Cloud Factory" album is amazing start to finish, and so is "King of Everything" and "Micro"/"Macro". They just do not have a bad song. I listen to them all the time mowing the lawn or doing the dishes and it passes the time amazingly.
