@@tempsitch5632 Yeah, it is incredible. Tati is mesmerizing. The guys are consummate musicians. Feeling her low growls from this song shaking my whole body is something I doubt I'll forget as long as I live. Maybe it wasn't the thing that connected perfectly for you - and there's nothing wrong with that. But for some of us, Jinjer just fits us perfectly, and what they do is simply incredible.

Roman is underappreciated in every reaction video I've seen so far, I mean not just on this channel. While I see how the other band members get the attention - they are really awesome, Roman is that great foundation of their music which you don't appreciate at first, but he's riffs and tone so amazing and he just doesn't get more attention as the band in general is sooo good.

@j.f.fisher53185 жыл бұрын
Yes! this. "ripping through" is really a good way to put it. I've felt the thump thump of bass before, but this was like being behind a jet engine and feeling the vibrations coming from the ongoing explosion contained within it, but modulated to carry someone's voice. It is a shockingly impressive feeling.
@alpi574 жыл бұрын
Appreciate your comments. Probably the most insightful of most of the reactors. Because you actually hear the band and not just Tatiana’s voice. You clearly hear the genius of Eugene on bass and the virtuosity of Roman and Vladislav. Tatiana happen to complete this circle. And The fact that you comment on the drummer’s sound, tempo and time signature changes tells me you know your music and instruments. They are just 4 virtuosos and a complete band. No empty spots, no gimmicks. Mad props to the producers of this concert for both the sound engineering and video/editing. They have done this band justice. You can hear every nuance of every instrument and that is not typical of metal concerts.

You’ve learned Tatiana’s name, and that’s great! And for your running commentary (which is always on point!), maybe it couldn’t hurt to learn the other band members’ names too? If you might be up for that, Jinjer’s current members are: Roman on guitar, Eugene on bass, and Vlad on drums (and, of course, Tatiana on vocals-but you knew that part). And for a next Jinjer track to react to, my vote is for “Perennial” (live at Wacken Open Air 2019)!

The bassist, Eugene, is amazing. I love this whole band and as bassist in general are, he's really good. Yes she totally delivers live, in many ways is better live than in the studio. I think this is one of the reasons I like this band so much, I like a band to sound better live than they did in the studio, the way Deep Purple was better live and so on... I remember when this was first uploaded, I watched it everyday, several times in a row for weeks. Great stuff. Thanks.

Loved your reaction, as usual. Good timing with the chat on how things change in the song, just before the outro - I had a big grin, thinking "you ain't seen nothin' yet". Tatiana often says (in interviews) that she is a big fan of Amy Winehouse, Bob Marley, native American music and many other non-metal genres. So when you hear them dipping into some jazz, ska/reggae and so on, it's because the members who write the music are mindful of their influences as a band. Many other bands seem to be driven by one central visionary, but Jinjer's process seems much more of a group effort. And we reap the benefits of that breadth, creativity and bravery.
@Module79L5 жыл бұрын
This one of the first lyrics - if not the first - that Tatiana wrote after joining the band. The song was very different in the beginning, with two guitars and tuned to drop C. They adapted it to one guitar when the other guitarist left and then to their current tuning, drop A. It sounds much better and heavier now. If you go back and listen to the original version it'll sound almost like a demo. :D Like 312!
@j.f.fisher53185 жыл бұрын
I thought it was an experiment when I first saw a video of them performing it, that maybe they were seeing how rock rap would sound so they sped up the tempo a bit so tati could rap it. And then I realized that was how it started. The slower heavy tempo is so much more powerful though. I like that they can totally re-compose their songs like that and make them so much more awesome.
@Module79L5 жыл бұрын
@@j.f.fisher5318 - No big deal, it's an old-ish song, from a time when nobody knew them. I've done it myself: we recorded the original version of one of our songs back in 2004, in the meantime we re-arranged it and released the new version on our latest album. : )
