The week after this song Abbey's mom committed suicide. As such, this song has never been released for profit and any money made goes to suicide prevention. You can hear the pain of what she is going through, whether its the loss of a lover or just what is happening with her mom. Such a great talent and I wait for her album.

Also she goes by Yebba because that was the nickname her mother had always used with her.

You say this, but if you haven't been on that side, it's remarkably easy to take that stance. Doesn't excuse it, or justify or anything--and for some, they can be completely heartless and emotionally detached, but for the many more that made a poor, poor decision, it's a hurt you don't understand either. It's hurts deep both ways. Words can't explain. Do you think it's even easier knowing you lost something you'll never have back, even if they stay, for just something temporary? Words can't explain that.

Her mother died by suicide about a week after Yebba sang her first original song, causing "My Mind" to take on new meaning representing mental health. She says her artist name was chosen to honor her mother, who she said "always called her by the nickname" (her name Abbey written backwards) as a child.
