Hi.. Drinking milk before eating durian can eliminate belching and bad breath. This is because the sulfur content in durian will be bound by the fat and protein of milk or coconut milk which will help reduce the smell of durian. You can also drink an original flavour of yourgart after eating durian cake because it can neutralize gas in the intestines..

Really glad to see you guys visited the religious places near the Merdeka square. When you were in front of the mosque, I can hear takbir Raya, it could be the day for Eidul Fitri or Eidul Adha.
@Yasin_Affandi Жыл бұрын
Just a little info, Eidul Fitri or Hari Raya Aidilfitri or Puasa marks the end of fasting month in Ramadan welcoming first day of Syawal, that was around last April this year, and Eidul Adha or Hari Raya Aidiladha or Haji, marks the end of pilgrimage in Mecca, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, that was around July this year. The Islamic calendar is shorter than the calendar we use, so the dates for both Eids come around 15 days earlier each year.

As a beginner for Nasi Lemak and other Malay /Malaysian spicy food, next time choose Ayam Goren (fried chicken) and chicken rendang also has a tame spicy. Another Malay traditional dish is Nasi Kerabu, which is a healthy version of meal with mixed of veggies and blue rice coloured by purple/blue pea flowers. Malaysian Indian food and Malaysian Chinese cuisines also different than Indian or Chinese foods in USA or their motherlands as they incorporated with local taste. Try also Peranakan (Baba and Nyonya) cuisines which is fusion of Chinese and Malay due to their heritages founded in Straits Settlement (Melaka, Penang and Singapore).. and if you go to Malaysian Borneo there are more other cuisines. Malaysia is food heaven so much varieties..

Don't worry not every local loves Durian. I can't stand it too 😅. Just the smell of it can make me feel like I'm going to vomit. When I was a child my dad used to buy a lot of Durians that he would end up not finishing. He would open some of it and then realize he could not finish it and store it in the fridge. The entire fridge will smell like Durian and even if I want to eat something like a corn flake or cheese from the fridge, it will feel & smell like Durian. 😂. Btw you guys have a lovely personality. I really enjoyed watching it.
