You are amazing and fun to watch. The “dangerous” man you met is the kindest kind of humanity. His business- UNREAL. The city seemed so interesting. I hope I can make it for the home game against Aston vila (11/04/2020) otherwise if i can’t get tickets than I’ll try next year in April (Australia school holidays - I’m a teacher). Thank you so much for an amazing experience through your eyes.

You will not regret going to Anfield, only 2 places in sport gives you the best inner vibrations you will ever feel. The Isle of Mann TT and the middle of the Kop in full voice singing the LFC anthem YNWA. the collective voice reverberates through your very soul, as the bikes' engine noise does at 200mph only a few feet away. the Anfield buzz is unique though as you are part of the noise.

Liverpool seems to have that magical alluring pull over players and managers, the most famous being Shankly, Paisley, Dalgleish, that most famous of Scousers Jan Molby, wouldn't know he was Danish when he started speaking and most recently Rafa Benitez Who still has a house in the City. He's back for seconds with Everton, bit of a comedown but still, who knows. My earliest recollection of being at a Liverpool game was sitting on the shoulders of my Dad in the early 1950's. Supported them ever since.

Reading some comments of other supporters I feel pretty said but mostly happy. I wish there would be more fans like you. I like other teams aswell and there was a time when I supported ALL english team in european competition. But somehow social media became such a toxic place. And I am guilty too. I let some of the toxic people trigger me. I am a Liverpool supporter for 26 years now, anything but a glory hunter you can say. I got mocked at school for it since day one and still I was proud of it. Thanks for your kind words. And good luck it the EL. I hope you make in into the knock out stage but it's looking good so far. The city needs to be on thé must visit tour for all culture junkies it’s such a wonderful place. Yes it’s history is tainted, but knowledge leads to understanding and progress. Great video, and what a fella Chris is! For me, Liverpool truly has been the most welcoming place in terms of being 'taken in' when working away there, been round lad's houses after work, meeting their families, met loads over the years around the world too, had a Scouse mrs for a bit, and two of my best mates are from Liverpool, so I really do adore the place, I'd even say that it's the only city we've got that still has a common community. But, for any traveller heading that way, make sure you stick to the touristy bits. Because while I truly believe you're average Scouser is among the best folk you can find on earth, you really don't want to meet the bad one's, because they really are a horrible bunch, it's still the only place I've been to where the cctv cameras in a petrol station where caged in, and in some corner shops every single item was protected by glass lol. Got lot's of stories from working there over the years, probably more than all the rest put together in terms of wtf? lol, but I'm not here to put the place down, I'm just half cut and rambling. Thanks for sharing XX

When Scousers do something, no matter what it is, they do it properly. so naughty or nice, it's overdone properly. You are spot-on, the nice are really really nice and the nasty are really really nasty. Its like most other big cities, just keep your wits about you.
