Great Reaction! Courtney has had me hooked from when I saw her 1st AGT PERFORMANCE! Her Audition is Jaw Dropping. Besides her voice being amazingly unique she is a performer not just a singer. Some of her musical influence comes from the likes of Janis Joplin, Tina Turner, James Brown. Courtney is a ROCKSTAR!

Welcome to the world of Courtney Hadwin. Both she and her voice are unique, a way out of the ordinary. In this performance, she is only 14 years old. Today she is 18 years old and will be 19 in July It's time for you to crawl down the rabbit hole for some listening. And this year she started releasing self-written music, a very good songwriter. She was supposed to release music a few years ago but the pandemic + a little disagreement with the record industry who wanted to change her into something she didn't want. Where she dropped out after a short contract period and now became an independent artist. Courtney is a down to earth person who has a good relationship with her fans whom she loves and often chats with over social media. There is a lot to say about this girl. But you will certainly get more info from others too.

Hey Ray. Now that was a fun reaction. So cool that you finally came across Courtney. She truly is the best thing that has happened to music in forever. After one reaction, you haven't necessarily seen enough to know this yet, but Courtney is truly a generational level talent. A once in a lifetime artist. BTW, this was recorded a few years ago, but add one more 'Wow' factor to this, because Courtney was only 14 when this was recorded. Courtney first rocketed to world wide fame when she appeared on the 2018 season of America's Got Talent (AGT). Her audition went viral and now has over a billion combined on-line views. While she was on AGT, Courtney sang exclusively classic rock from the 60's and 70's from the likes of James Brown, Tina Turner and Janis Joplin. It's fair to say that no one can dominate a stage like Courtney. She is a true stage beast. However, those that knew her from only AGT, viewed her as only this fabulous stage pounding rocker, which she most certainly is, but she is so, so much more. She has one of the most versatile and beautiful voices in music and can sing everything from R&B, Funk, Soul and Ballads, as well as Rock, and be equally great at all. She even had an opera TikTok go viral. The incredible thing is that, whatever style, there s never any drop off to the incredible quality of her music. We've yet to find where Courtney's comfort zone might end. After AGT, as part of highlighting this tremendous versatility and creativity, she released a four song EP called the 'Cover Sessions', where she took recent massive hit songs, across different genres, and basically re-invented them. This song is from the EP, and is the perfect example. She took this pop song and turned it into this Funk classic. The other three songs on the EP are equally as amazing and will blow you're mind. Wait until you see what she did with the Country, Hip Hop 'Old Town Road'. Courtney was so great on AGT, that she was almost immediately signed to Syco/Arista records (Sony Music). However, a combination of the label being sold and them trying to twist Courtney into something she refused to be, another pop princess, led to all kinds of difficulty in releasing her original music. Then Covid hit and basically shut everything down for over two years. As soon as Courtney could, at the beginning of this year, she walked away from her label and has already released two brilliant originals. A gritty ballad called 'Breakable' and a jazzy uptempo song that almost feels like 1940's Swing called 'That Girl Don't Live Here'. Over the last several years, Courtney has built a huge library of songs that she hasn't been able to release, but she has shared many, in whole or in part. with her fans, and they are absolutely sensational. She is such a powerhouse as a songwriter. When Courtney is in control of her own destiny, amazing things happen. Now that she's independent, it's said to expect an original release every month or two. So there will soon be a lot of Courtney original music to react to. You can find the four songs from her EP, as well as her two new originals, and other material, on her KZbin channel at the link below. If you're going to be reacting to more Courtney music, you definitely have me as a subscriber. I can't wait. Courtney Hadwin - KZbin Channel: www.youtube.com/@CourtneyHadwin/videos

Her voice on Love Hurts is just on another level, to bad their isn't better audio but I am an old man and the only person I could even compare her to is Janis Joplin and I think, for me, Courtney is actually better so I totally agree with at least your number one here.

I keep coming back to watch you react to her over and over again. Just like I do going back to any of Courtney's videos. Same shit happened again when I saw you go off at 4:48, I started cracking up. This reaction has got to be right up there with some of the best ever since Courtney got big time famous from her AGT audition and that is saying a lot. A few of those reactions got over a million views. No reaction may ever reach that plateau again only because Courtney's herself had all eyes on her when that video went viral, but it's got to be one of the best, reaction wise. It's one of those reactions that makes you crack up throughout and also it's a feel good video that makes sharing Courtney with others of just how great she is and hoping your going to be the next big fan of hers. I finally caught the Benjamin Button comment, 😂 it slipped by me a few times. So much excitement was happening I missed a few things. That's why I'm glad I went back to watch this a few times. Same thing happened to me while watching Courtney's newest original released a few weeks ago. I think I'm just getting older and slower keeping up. Had to watch that video a number of times before I caught everything she put in that video. She's also very smart in how she goes about her ways of communicating with her audiences. Btw, that room she recorded "Sucker" in and also the other 3 songs she recorded back in 2019 was way too small for her. it was a storage room for the studio with all their amps and what not. When she's on a big stage she uses all of it. And she really lets loose with her moves and excitement. She's a natural entertainer who just goes with the moment and feels the music and then reacts. She's very much like all the great legends on stage. No exaggeration there. There's so much to tell about who Courtney is and how she goes about her business. But I'm afraid I'd be just letting the cat out of the bag. You'll figure it out as you keep watching her if you do. Btw, feel better. I've just gotten some bad news on the health issues that caught me off guard too. It ain't gonna get me down though. I always go back to mom's saying of "This too shall pass". Stay well and get healthy.

What a reaction that was. I got home heard about your reaction to Courtney's cover of "Sucker" being so good. I had to watch it. It did not disappoint. I stopped the video myself because you had me laughing with excitement when you got started with her. You've tasted a little piece of what she can do, hopefully you'll go for the whole pie now. It's so much fun watching people who love her style react to what she has to offer. Courtney has got to be right up there with some of the top performers I've ever seen. And she's still so young. She's no one trick pony. She can sing most any genre she chooses. She's one special young lady. I really hope you follow up reacting to more of Courtney Hadwin. It' will be time well spent if you do. I'll leave the link for the performance many have already mentioned for you to watch next. It's how Courtney got world wide recognition to anyone who watched AGT and searched KZbin for new music artists. She was an Instant overnight viral sensation with 30 million views within the 1st week for this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKnIZH6ufbycoa8&pp=ygUcY291cnRuZXkgaGFkd2luIGFndCBhdWRpdGlvbg%3D%3D Unfortunately when she got signed by Arista Records/Sony Music, for some reason they wanted to mold her into something other than what made her so lovable. Big mistake on their part. When she got out of her contract she went independent and has gotten further along in the past few months in her career than when she was signed for the previous 4 years. We were all waiting for her music and had no idea why nothing happened and then she announced she was independent and would be releasing her own originals and they are brilliantly well written, well produced and performed. Such great songs that should be radio worthy. But without a music label that may take some doing and time, but I think if anyone can, Courtney can. Please look into reacting to many more of her videos. This one was great, but she has so many more and her new songs are great. One of which is truly different and just as much fun. The other more of a ballad telling her story of what she went through over the past 4 years with that Courtney rock voice spliced in here and there. Here's her channel to explore more. But check out her AGT audition 1st, It's jaw dropping for everyone who's seen it. As fans we love watching peoples jaw literally hang from their faces. 😛 kzbin.info/door/7teONMQPF1_g3YCv-lEtfQ

It is insane that she was only 14 when she did this. She hasn't put out a lot of music but everything she does put out is quality. She is a completely independent artist at this time and is just getting out of school so hopefully we will be seeing more from her. Such a funky sound and I love her perfectly imperfect voice. Attitude and emotion - just what this modern, watered down, autotuned era of music needs!
