Ray, you just didn't know. That's okay. The acknowledgment that you didn't know is enough. Please don't take it down. We've all had our "didn't know" hours. Forgive yourself. I watched a reaction tonight of someone reacting to AJ singing the WH song, "I Have Nothing." She was emotional and honest in her love and compassion for Whitney and she had high praise for Angelina doing it justice at age 16. Angelina has always brought such compassion to her singing and into her studies of the artist doing the original. And in that same spirit, we can sit with each other when it is real. Avicii and Angelina have collaborated, when Avicii made a commercial for VOLVO in 2015, he let Angelina sing, she was then nine years old. Angelina made this tribute to Avicii shortly after his death.

Avicii put these life reflecting thoughts into a song with a very up tempo beat for dancing and to make others feel happy. Avicii had some issues and after working with Angelina on an add for Volvo automobiles where she was to sing Feeling Good, they became friends. This dedication is one of the most emotional renditions I’ve ever heard. The true meaning of the songs story is brought out for all of us to understand his self doubts and fears. Please listen to this again on your own without pause to catch exactly what this 12 year old girl did for him and gave to us.

Ray I think you reacted completely appropriately not knowing the back story concerning Angelina and her friend. Angelina is a phenomenon and sings with great passion. You are absolutely correct. And I did hear the musicians who play for Angelina while she performs are truly blown away by her talent. You seen this when you reacted to Angelina singing a million years ago. This was not just a dedication but a tribute to her Avicii shortly after he passed away way way too young. He and Angelina were friends. Dressed in black, her solemn declaration at the start and her sad bye at the end. To me there is mile deep sadness to her singing this song. It chokes me up listening to it. She strips down and slows down his own song and suddenly you understand why Avicii was in such a bad place: he tried to carry the world on his should and didn't know he was lost. She is also singing about herself with 'People tell me I'm too young to understand', but mostly about him. I'm not religious, but when sings 'Wake me up, when it is all over, when I'm wiser and older', I do wish he could be woken up. You might want to listen to it again :-)

I see that others have commented on what the performance was about, so i won't go into that. Did you notice the filter on the video? I believe she was feeling very broken and that filter shows that. And that sad, reserved "Bye" at the end breaks my heart. As a general rule, I like your reactions, but this one not so much.
