The best thing about the metal community is we LOVE when a female comes in, says 'hold my beer' and kicks all the boys asses. It's not girl power, it's girl domination...Tati is a force, we want more like her.

@@AmeliaBrown excellent recommendations. havent heard a song from them yet that i would skip or turn off. they combine so many genres with metal its insane. actually combined Reggae and metal in the Judgement and Punishment video. i suggest the one take vocal performance for that one cause by the time she recorded the one take her vocals had improved exponentially . not taking anything away from the original music video cause they all sounded great, but that one take she effin nailed. Tatianna is the most beautifully scary person ive ever sseen. what kind of music do you usually listen too?
@Aaron-io8vw2 жыл бұрын
I love that you can always categorize first time reactions to Tati's switching to harsh vocals in two ways, the What reaction and the Does not compute reaction(where they do not say anything but you can almost see the wheels turning in their mind.)
@Adam_Le-Roi_Davis.2 жыл бұрын
Jinjer are a band from the Ukraine, they are: Tatiana on Vocals, Roman on Guitar, Eugene is the Bassist, Vlad is the Drummer. Songs to check out by them are; 'Perennial' live at Wacken open air festival 2019, 'Teacher Teacher' the official music video, 'Judgement (and Punishment)' Tatiana's one-take vocal version, 'Vortex' the official music video, 'Home Back' the official music video (this relates to the conflict in the Ukraine), and for an older track with their pervious Drummer Dimitry check out, 'I Speak Astronomy' the official music video, they have a large back catalogue but these are good ones to start with, Amelia. 🙂

Thanks for giving these details to Amelia, but please drop that "the" from the country name, because it is the independent country for 30 years by now, and there is no conflict in Ukraine, but ruzzian war against Ukraine.

Tatiana has control of her vocal cords and her false vocal cords, it is the latter that gives that growl, they are two different parts of the throat and it takes a lot to sing like that in a healthy way.

Amelia, Question time, is your mind blown?? You can search you tube for a video of Tatiana putting her stage make up on. Warning when the drummer switches over to rim shots. Get ready. Yes love that is her. You may want to look them up at Wacken performing this song. English is one of her other languages. She works hard to pronounce the words. The band is from the Ukraine. The singers name is Tatiana Shmayluk

my suggestion for the next reaction videos with metal bands with female vocalists who have the same style as Tatiana from Jinjer and have many examples like: Nervosa (Brazil), Crypta (Brazil), ETHS (France), Astarte (Greece), Thorr's Hammer (Sweden), The Agonist (Canada), Arch Enemy (Germany), Once Human (USA), Asagraum (Netherlands)... ahhhh... yes reminder is yes her voice and second she has a lot of training and prepared to perform a vocal in this style and third I'm from Brazil I'm already used to bands with female vocalists in the middle of metal and extreme metal so the first time that I saw a woman on vocals as well as Tatiana I was also surprised but at the same time enjoying it, and I recommend listening to the band Nervosa because it was one of the bands with the female formation of Brazilian extreme metal in which the first formation had Fernanda Lira and Prika Amaral before Fernanda formed Crypta which is also an excellent band and Nervosa is still active with Prika Amaral but with a new formation

Nice reaction! My first time to your channel (I'll follow wherever the Jinjer reactions take me 😁) so not sure what types of music you are in to. Pisces is one of Jinjer's most "mellow" songs so it does, for the most part, get heavier from here. If you react to more, what you'll see, however, is that Tatiana is able to use many variations of both her clean vocals and harsh vocals throughout just about every song and can switch up on a dime and at any time. It keeps you engaged and on your toes. Many commenters will suggest Perennial (Live at Wacken) for a live performance to show that she can do it live but while that's a great song, I would go with Pit of Consciousness and/or On the Top (both Live in Kiev) for the next one. But honestly you can't go wrong with any Jinjer song....they have literally not made a bad song over 4 LPs and 2 EPs.

I'm a bit baffled by any new reactions to this song. I just don't understand how it's possible for anyone to be surprised at this point being as this song is so old and has made its way thoroughly through the reaction trend for years now. That being said, Tatiana certainly is a brilliant vocalist and is very capable in a multitude of stylistic options to deliver her lyrics with the maximum potency. Not to mention this band as a whole are all very proficient players and one of the better examples of newer extreme metal. So, very cool to see you joined the Legion of who appreciate an all-around damn good band. Cheers.

Be honest, would you have expected her insane screams and her ability to switch to cleans if you had done research in advance? I'm somewhat of an amateur extreme vocalist myself and Tati keeps blowing me away. For more Jinjer, I can onlyl say all Jinjer songs are great. My favourite songs are Perennial (live at Wacken is a great performance), Teacher teacher (for its message) and On the top, not in that particular order though. Jinjer is one of my all-time fav bands, mostly because they're very tight as a band, all members are true masters of their instruments and they really have their own instantly recognisable sound, in the same way System of a Down does.
