Haha!!! You’re expression when Tatiana started her scream/growl harsh vocals was priceless! You could have started your journey down the Jinjer rabbit hole. I would highly recommend watching their live video for Perennial (live from Wacken 2019) and the official videos for Wallflower and Teacher, Teacher.

🔥"Holy Fck!" 2 seconds in, paused the video, clicked like & subscribe. Welcome to Jinjer, LNarious! I just found your channel, great reaction! Thank you for bringing the fantastic genre twisting music of Jinjer to more people! I love their energy, how tight they are, how down to earth they are, the heaviness mixed with complexity and groove, beautiful singing and beautiful growling and especially Tatiana's lyrics! The first time I heard Pisces in 2019, I hadn't liked any metal with growling and it took me a few listens to start liking it, but now Tatiana is my favorite vocalist and Jinjer my favorite band (Pisces has been my wakeup alarm for a couple years and I still love it more every time I hear it). TLDR: skip to the last paragraph 😂 Sorry for the very long comment, I just love Jinjer too much and love seeing people discover (and usually fall in love with) them and each of their songs! My three favorite comments about Jinjer that I've seen, "terrifying levels of talent", "I hate it when a Jinjer song ends", and "that was more unexpected than my first child" 🤣 I love the story of Tatiana getting interested in learning to growl. In her own words, "I was inspired by Otep (Shamaya). When I was 15, my friend showed me a record of House of Secrets. I was like, ‘That dude - his voice is so powerful. And he said, ‘Oh come on Tatiana, that’s actually a woman!’ I was like, ‘What?’ She blew my mind. That was the time, the moment when I realized I wanted to shock people just like her. I just had the feeling or the intuition, like an extra sense that this is what I’m made to do.” The four current members have essentially no musical training except for Vlad the drummer who studied classical piano. They've been a tour heavy band, on the road almost nonstop from 2013 to 2020 and touring as soon as they could after a forced break due to covid, hard work that has made them fantastic live and they make it look effortless. For most of their songs, the three guys write most of the instrument music, then Tatiana writes most of the lyrics and melodies (she gets tons of well deserved credit for her vocal and stage performance abilities, but maybe not quite enough for her lyrical and musical composition abilities). Roman the guitarist has written a lot of the instrument music in the past, so he's a huge part of the beautiful sound of Jinjer, but Vlad the drummer (who also plays guitar and piano, but so far not in most Jinjer songs - I think he played piano in lainnereP) has been writing more of it and wrote nine of the eleven songs for the newest album Wallflowers, videos are out for Vortex, Mediator, Wallflower, Disclosure!, and Call Me A Symbol. Eugene composes some - he wrote the instrument music for one song on Wallflowers and a few songs on other albums, and I know that apart from his amazing work on the bass, he adds riffs and has written lyrics for a few Jinjer songs. The band (all members have been Ukrainian, with Russian their first language) started in eastern Ukraine in 2009 as a group of three (then five) with none of the current members (they consider the official start of the band when Tatiana replaced the male vocalist and Roman joined as lead guitar 2009/2010), Vlad is the fifth drummer (joined in 2016) and it's been a group of four since 2015 (though they've considered their road sound engineer Sasha to be a fifth member). I think they're still friends with all the former members and you can see former Jinjer guitarist turned actor, Dmitry Oksen, on guitar in older Jinjer videos, and acting as an interrogator in one of their latest videos, Disclosure! One of the things I love most about Jinjer is the messages in Tatiana's lyrics and the way she combines her beautiful growling and beautiful singing with Jinjer's fantastic instrumentals to be so powerful for expressing the anger and pain in those messages: the anti-war message in Home Back, the anti-greed in On The Top, Mediator and No Hoard Of Value (also the horror of the coal mining industry in their home Ukraine), the protest song Who Is Gonna Be The One, the anti-fascism of Sit Stay Roll Over, the anger at people being narrow minded in Teacher Teacher and Judgment & Punishment, the struggles with mental health in Pit Of Consciousness, Vortex, Wallflower and Perennial, the giving voice to mother nature angry at humanity for letting capitalism destroy her in a bunch of songs like Ape, The Prophecy, Cloud Factory, Noah, Outlander, Dip A Sail and Bad Water. Other favorites of mine are I Speak Astronomy, Retrospection, Words of Wisdom, Just Another, Captain Clock, Scissors, Exposed As A Liar, I Want It I'll Get It, A Plus Or A Minus, When Two Empires Collide, lainnereP, Prologue and Beggar's Dance (those last two are short album bookends that might do well together in one reaction). I haven't found a Jinjer song I don't love, so I think you can't go wrong if you choose any of them, but a few good choices might be Perennial (official and/or live at Wacken, both are must-see), Teacher Teacher (official), Judgement & Punishment (official and/or Tatiana's one take performance, again both must-see), Pit of Consciousness (official and/or live in Kiev/Kyiv, a third where both are absolutely must-see) or the heartwrenching plea against war in Home Back (official video). Note that because Jinjer has so many great official videos and so many astounding live performance videos, no Jinjer fan will ever mind if you react to a second video for a Jinjer song you've already heard, so whichever songs you choose, whatever pace you like: hope you'll keep trying more Jinjer and enjoy! ❤🖤🤘

Amazing reaction my friend!!....You are the right person to make this insane reaction video and give us your opinion about this insane singer...In 2017, the music world was shocked by the bursting onto the scene of a 22-year-old singer named Dimash Kudaibergen, who performed on the famous Chinese competition show for professional singers called “The Singer”... It was just it was necessary for this young man to make his first appearance, making a cover of one of the most difficult songs in the world, a famous French composition called "S.O.S. D'un Terrien En Détresse", to be considered from that moment on as the best singer in the entire planet....No one in the musical field had ever seen a human being, being able to reach vocal ranges above 7 octaves and several semitones, that is, all 88 keys of a digital piano, which reaches a little more than 7 octaves and as if that weren't enough, sing the more than 12 languages...Since then all kinds of experts (Vocal coachs, singers, musicians, analysts, singing teachers, youtubers, reactors, etc.) have dedicated themselves to reviewing their presentations to try to understand how someone can sing this way...The incredible thing is that that presentation in China was in 2017 but what Dimash has done in these 5 years is to further improve his wide vocal range, which is currently practically above of the 8 octaves... The Covid pandemic stopped his concerts worldwide, all with tickets sold in just seconds, via the internet, but at the same time it ended up catapulting him to the top of popularity worldwide...Anyway, since I think you are one of those reactors who have not yet met this impressive singer, here is the link of that presentation in China in 2017, with the song S.O.S. and I would like you to mention my name as the person who recommended him to you...You have to be prepared because your channel will explode with an avalanche of views, comments and new subscribers....I leave you one more recent video than the others, so it does not have the same number of views as the previous ones, which have millions of views, but it is a more complete video, with an intro, subtitles in several languages and with the improved quality of audio and sound....kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHW7ZHmeot6Bl8U

Anything you've heard that you haven't seen live is totally fair game. Id recommend waiting on Pit Of Consciousness live in Kiev (Kyiv) if you want to do multiple Jinjer reactions because it is a perfect storm of Jinjer awesomeness and there's really impressive stuff that nevertheless pales compared to PoC. Perennial for focus on technical cleans and stage presence, Who Is Gonna Be The one for focus on growls, Judgement & Punishment one take for something a bit different recorded at home during the pandemic, On The Top live in Kiev (Kyiv) for something great at Kyiv that doesn't just roflstomp everything else quite as much as that PoC performance. Teacher Teacher live at Wacken. Have fin :D subbed. Cheers!

Oh and the line where she goes high is the only time she does outside of when it was done the first time when they recorded King of Everything when Dmitry Kim was the drummer, as she's always afraid she'll mess it up live so she just growls it. The line is-"searching for a hook to catch on.. and see their sunbeam.." Dmitry is a killer drummer but he really didn't like touring. Your face on first chorus "scale armor...blaze" priceless. Well, you done screwed up now. Welcome to the rabbit hole. Jinjer is a unique band that, while they surprise you, may not be to your taste. If they are, you are in for a ride. If you have problems with progressive metal, I'd recommend also checking out Arch Enemy or Spiritbox for your female metal vocalist fix. Both are excellent bands. We love Jinjer, not only for Tati, but for the musicians behind her. They are on a different level mixing different genres into metal. You should get some great recommendations for live performances, if you want to continue. Great reaction, either way.

I am sorry for how hard I laughed when you said "I'm not high any more". I also was a little afraid for you on the sip of Coke because I thought you might choke or it would go flying but you finished it just in time.
