Scorpions are brilliant, especially this era of the band (1973-78). Uli Jon Roth was (and still is) a magnificent lead guitarist and one of the first to blend neo-classical influence with his love of Jimi Hendrix' style.

Lyrics was written by girlfriend (and later wife) of the guitarist Ulrich Roth, and dedicated to the Jimi Hendrix after his death cause they were together that time.

You are not alone Millie, there are millions of us Scorpions fans world wide, some of their videos have many 100s of millions of views, I have been a fan since getting their debut album (Lonesome Crow) in 1970. Their best album for me is Lovedrive, the legendary Michael Schenker (brother of co founder Rudolph Schenker, their 2nd lead/rhythm guitar) is on lead guitar on 3 tracks and all 8 tracks are classic, the title track is amazing. There is even a tribute band named after one of the tracks, they are called Coast to Coast and cover Michael in his glory days with The Scorpions, UFO, and MSG. They are worth a look as well. If you like the Scorpions you really should listen to something from UFO's Strangers In The Night live album. Try Lights Out or Doctor Doctor. The guitar player, Michael Schenker was in the Scorpions, his brother Rudy was the guitarist on this Scorpions song. Pete Way the bass player in UFO was a big influence on Steve Harris of Iron Maiden. You will definitely hear it in some songs. Iron Maiden actually plays Doctor Doctor over the PA at all their concerts just before they go on stage. You must do the live versions of this record they are the best.

Off their best album, Lovedrive. That album is their Led Zeppelin IV, 8 tracks and all are classic, the album flies by and is at the highest level of rock.
