I bought one in 2020 and absolutely love it! It handles beautifully and is really agile and easy to zip around on - like a sports car. I mostly use it on the curvy, country roads of Pa. and it is perfect. Very good torque and acceleration. And it sounds great!

It’s plenty for that type of riding. Thanks for watching!

Love the sound tbh, and you laughed more on this bike than some of the other bikes js 👀🤣

It was very fun for sure!

Thanks for sharing this! Curious if you have lots of wind buffeting on this? I love it, but I don't like a lot of wind on me. Thumbs up on a nice little review! 👍
@BlackRiverRider Жыл бұрын
You will get lots of wind as there is no fairing, which is true for all standard/naked motorcycles. There is no buffeting though because of the lack of fairing which causes turbulent air if it’s not enough to deflect around you. It will be just clean air, as if you were riding a dirt bike down the road.

really not sure about this or the z400. thanks for the review
@BlackRiverRider Жыл бұрын
I’d say go for the Z400 to get a little more power for highway riding and passing without being too much. Will likely be more reliable as well as Japanese bikes are just about bulletproof at this point. I think the G310R is for people that just want a BMW over one of its competitors. It’s made in India so it’s not their German stuff like the rest.

@@BlackRiverRiderdid you test z400 or just saying based on specs?
@BlackRiverRider Жыл бұрын
@@basedpatriotLT I haven’t rode a z400 so based on specs. It’s just much more power for the same money. Like 30% more and will likely be more reliable as Japanese bikes are known for that. It’s really personal preference.

Picked up a 2022 "used" with 900 miles! Still had the full warranty and I added a Puig windshield. Perfect for back roads, highway driving not the , best I hit 92 mph. City driving is a breeze, great for beginners and vets. A fun sized bike at a very affordable price
@alexvolpe672 ай бұрын
You hit 92?? How buzzy was the tank feeling?? I just got to like 70 in 6th on my 24’ and it definitely felt like it wasn’t a fan of going that speed. Not too satisfied about that. Lmk
@stephant36652 ай бұрын
@alexvolpe67 oh, that bike isn't meant to do 92, that was on the Speedo and GPS. Vibration and felt light. I'm happy with 70/75mph, I'm Old lol! Did 130 tops on my older Honda, that had some go. Love the BMW but it's limited.

Can anyone tell me if they fixed the leaking coolant problem I've read so much about when searching for reliability on this model?
@BlackRiverRider11 ай бұрын
Your best bet might be browsing some Reddit or g310r forums and see. That’s usually where the latest updates come from. Dealers will probably gaslight the issue if it’s a big problem

What about gear shifting? is that smooth
@BlackRiverRider Жыл бұрын
Yes, very smooth. It’s a great overall experience. It just doesn’t have as much power as it’s Japanese competitors is the only thing.

Honda CB 300r not exactly a speedster, loses to 310, bmw has 3 year warranty vs 1 yr from japanese brands. Also India has made bikes for many years, royal enfield for example. @@BlackRiverRider

Indian cities really don't need more than 70mph, that's way too much.
@BlackRiverRider Жыл бұрын
I don’t think a 300 is too much anywhere to be honest. Top speed is fairly irrelevant on the street in my experience. It’s more about acceleration/torque. This bike is great for city riding.
