You only run when both of the batsmen are confident they can get into their crease quicker than the fielder's return. This depends on the coordination and trust between the two as they have to make this decision in split second. I think those guys got you too much hung up on the stance, grip etc for a starter. You can play it free style as long as you hit the ball. But you did amazing. Bring it back to Germany and we want to see German team in the World cup ♥

I suggest you guys to visit the Northeast Indian states like "Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya". Trust me, it'll be a very different and pleasant experience. Northeast Indians are very different than the other Indians but that just makes it more beautiful. Avoid visiting the state of "Manipur" tho cuz there's a bit of problem going on there. Much love💙

Every state in Northeast has it's own unique beauty and most of it remains hidden from other Indians as well. Assam is known for it's famous wildlife sanctuaries, gigantic tea gardens, and other tourist attractions. Meghalaya has the "Wettest place on Earth", living root bridges, the "cleanest village of Asia", waterfalls, the famous Dawki river which is famous for it's clear, transparent water and many more. I highly recommend you to visit the state of Sikkim if you guys like snowy places. Sikkim has beautiful mountains, rivers, snowfall, buddhist temples and lakes. Sikkimese culture is very similar to Tibetan culture. (Do research a bit about Northeast India and it's tourist attractions before going there, it's a very isolated region of the country but has lots of hidden gems. Start your journey with the states of Sikkim and Meghalaya and AVOID MANIPUR. )

One of the guys said "bhosadi ke kud gaya" and I laughed so hard. Btw while batting always keep your eyes on the ball from the moment it leaves the bowlers hand until the moment you strike it with your bat, this trick significantly increases your chance of hitting the ball. Also you run when the ball is not near any fielders who are spread everywhere when they start bowling and also when the ball hasn't crossed or hit the boundary. If the ball touches the boundary while grounded its considered a 4 and when it crosses the boundary without touching the ground its a six. In case of a 4 or 6 you don't need to run.
