@@AlexandruCarjan Max doesn't know for certain whether allowing Nathan to kill Chloe will prevent the storm from happening. She even has a premonition of the storm before she intervenes. The storm may be inevitable. It's not unethical for her to choose to protect Chloe, who is the person she likely loves (platonically or romantically) more than any other person in her life. You seem to have a problem with people who are gay, which is pretty "weird".

@@terencebc I mean, from the beginning it was hinted by the game, that the realities Max travel to, still exists, so it’s only for Max to be in sadness and with Double Exposure comming out soon where Max will be able to switch from each alternate reality it just confirms that all reality still exists, so the reality where the city is destroyed by the tornado still exists it’s just not the Max we play as that will live in that reality and will have to suffer to create a reality where the city isn’t destroyed

Man, how much I love this game just isn't written, it marked me in so many ways that it's hard to put into words, seeing this whole story about Max, Chloe and their family... It just makes me want to get into this game, give each one a hug and send it to the person who came up with the idea for this wonderful and tragic story at the same time, Lis will always have a very special place in my heart and I can't wait to see Emma playing the other games in the future

Loved your reaction throughout LiS, it was really great seeing you experience it. One thing I love is that they did us dirty with the outfits in this episode. I played it thinking that this was their last day together, but not THE day, since Max and Chloe don,t wear the same outfit than in the flashback in episode 3. So I was sad, but not too sad... when the door opened, I realized they talked about changing outfits earlier, but I thought nothing of it, and that it was, actually, that day... It really broke me, but I'm really glad that I was blind to it. That was such an experience. Still having no regrets to have chosen Bae over Bay in my playthrough haha

I forgot that this episode hits the feels just as hard... If I wore mascara, it would have run just as bad. LiS credits should end with the tagline "Thanks for crying!" instead. If you don't mind the wait, I would actually recommend Double Exposure next, that way you can keep all the Max stories together without sliding another game into the middle.(Also comes with the added benefit of posting reactions during hype time for the game). You may have heard how divisive the community is on LiS2 (I'm not a fan), but Captain Spirit and LiS2 episode 1 are free, so play those, then if you decide you aren't interested, you can save some money and time. And if you play True Colors, play the main game before Wavelengths - you'll appreciate having context for the setting and characters . Whatever you do, have fun crying!

Hahaha I literally started singing "One Step Closer" with you at the right time. And i get what you mean about Max not knowing exactly how to react or what to say from after she moved. It seems like that they wrote it out for Max in BTS to be so caught up in life because ironically "life is strange" and they wanted to throw in that image of how it is in real life when you lose association with your close friends, which i think was MEAN OF THEM TO DO SO IN THIS GAME. Other than that, the emotions are really striking in this episode but the game series is just too good to pass it on. And now you know not to sacrifice Chloe anymore haha.

I think that choosing the Bay ending of LiS because it seems like the right thing to do, then playing BTS+Farewell and feeling that the Bae ending is the right one is a pretty common journey. Chloe is just such a special character. She deserves a happy ending.

Just a subtle thought: when Chloe pulls away from her mom at the funeral, I can't help but think she kind of blames her mom. Had she not needed a ride, her dad wouldn't have been in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I really hope you play LiS2, I think you'll find the approach to the powers and choices in that one interesting. That being said, it would make sense for you to continue with Double Exposure when it comes out. Especially given how much hype it'll have as a new game.

They did release a short game before LIS2 released called "The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit" which is a bit of an introduction to LIS2. The main character in that game is someone you will meet at some point in the LIS2 main game! Its honestly optional, I don't think its a 'must' play but its up to you if you want to play it first before starting LIS2.

I still can't comprehend Max's actions. She's a good person before, and a good person after, but in between she doesn't call Chloe for five years even knowing what Chloe was going through? I love the games anyway, but that part doesn't seem realistic.

It kind of does feel realistic to me. Max is a very anxious person and sort of avoidant person. When she moved to Seattle she was dealing with her own grief at the loss of a second-father figure, on top of having moved to a new city and trying to fit in there. She would be overwhelmed, and not knowing how to comfort Chloe, would avoid the situation entirely. Long distance friendships often suffer anyway, but with all the one extra stressors I can see how she would fail to be a good friend.
