Life is Strange is an award-winning and critically acclaimed episodic adventure game that allows the player to rewind time and affect the past, present and future.

The scene after the Tempest was really beautiful. I really loved its vibe, but it also wrecked me. Chloe looked so happy and full of hope, and they were so cute together... and then I remember what happened to Rachel in a few weeks/months... It really makes this scene feel bittersweet

i think that was the whole vision for this game. one decision, can change the whole path of your life, just like butterfly effect, which is why they didn’t want any time travel in it. if they just have left THAT night after the tempest, rachel would possibly still be alive as well as chloe. one decision, to stay for dinner, changed their whole futures.

I just wanted to say I've only recently just stumbled upon your channel and I'm so grateful I did because you look over everything and show such interest in what you're doing that it makes it 10x more enjoyable than standard playthroughs. It's a rarity to see Nathan get his lines correct in the play for example but because you take great care and show a genuine passion for the game, I'm not surprised you hit that cutscene. Chloe is difficult. But Joyce as a mother sometimes leaves something to be desired. David is an asshole, and what he did at the end of LiS 1 does not absolve him of his mistakes, because there as a “policeman” he did nothing more than his obligation. Joyce chose to take in this man instead of her own daughter, he not only emotionally abuses Chloe, but also beats her (and this is clear in the first game) if the choice is for Max to remain hidden inside the closet. By the way, I don't usually comment on things, but your channel is really cool and I love your gameplays

It isn't made clear in the game, but the clues are there in the original Life is Strange Game and this one. Chloe says to Max in the original game she had a "boy toy" phase. Chloe tells Rachel in episode one that her "V-Card has been punched already" Chloe is only 16 and had been going out with Eliot for a bit and she mentioned they hooked up. The implication seems to be that Chloe and Eliot had sex at some point in the past, but for Chloe it was really more a part of her rebellious nature along with drugs and alcohol and that it didn't mean much to her on an emotional level.... but for Eliot, it clearly meant everything and he's not picking up on the clues how little it meant to her.

If you Look at things before interacting with them, you'll get a lot more dialog and story. Sometimes you want to look back again after interacting as well. The extra dialog, especially in dreams, gives you a lot of insight into what Chloe's thinking.

Sorry for the long comment but I got angry at D*vid writing this. The biggest reason for me that David comes off extra crispy awful in this game- aside from the rampant misogyny -is the way that he treats William. He not once mentions William by name, but consistently implies that William was/is a bad father. He treats the situation as if Chloe doesn't have a dad because he's absent, when he's literally dead and it's so aggressively disrespectful. He literally LAUGHS at William's toolbox when he tells Chloe that every house needs one, and it's easy here to read toolbox as Father Figure. He says to Chloe's face that she's had a "vacation from having a Father"(EW). And his line post-expulsion about how Chloe will "see what a stable home can be like." When he KNOWS that she's already seen it and the reason she lost it. David hates William and it colors his character so heavily, and when it combines with his sexist tendencies and his militant view of authority it creates the MOST intolerable man.

It's interesting because in my playthrough, Nathan fucked up his scene on stage. The only difference I can think of is that I defended him from Drew. I'd suggest checking all the entries in the journal. The entries before the start of the game, the character entries for Steph and Drew and Mikey, and the the phone texts also from before the start of the game from Max and other characters. Ah, who am I kidding? It's already too late to give advice. There's no way you didn't immediately download and play the next part. Well, hopefully on your next playthrough. It's interesting.

The Tempest, written by some privileged old white guy, or the worlds finest ever writer, re-written by Rachael and Chloe. This was the very best episode from the series, with a lot of unexpected surprises. So Emma, which of the two girls is your girlfriend? The beautiful, effervesant, sexy but flawed Rachael. Or the equally beautiful, spontaneous, moody, hot-headed Chloe?
