honestly shanes not that bad after you gain a few hearts with him so he really is a dont judge a book by its cover kind of guy. plus he gives you blue chickens if you do marry him so id say its worth it

There are mods that will let you romance characters you normally cant like the wizard, Linus, and others who are on the older side or who are married. the romancible characters are all young adults which is your canon age in the game

@thecrystalsim yeah there are some crazy mods out there, some even let you turn your partner into a yandere. I don't dabble with mods much myself but I do have some that automate things a bit and keeps the npc's from knocking over your boxes
